Men’s Ministry
At River Life our desire is that men would discover the greatness of God and the greatness of being a man, as well. This year’s ministry to men will be based on John Eldredge’s best-selling book and bible study – Wild at Heart. “Wild at Heart is the search for the soul of a man. Walk into most churches, have a look around, and ask yourself: What is a Christian man? Without listening to what is said, look at what you find there. Most Christian men are…bored. In Wild At Heart John Eldredge invites men to recover their masculine heart, defined in the image of a passionate God.”
• Monthly meetings beginning in October: 1st Sunday of month @ 7
• Quarterly men’s events/outings: golf tournament, fishing trip, whitewater rafting, annual “A Place for the Heart” retreat, and more.
• Work days for men – church improvement projects, moving days, etc.

A Life Group for Families
Koininia is the biblical word for “fellowship”. Koininia goes much deeper, however, than friendship or community. It is a spiritual connection that is only made possible with the Holy Spirit involved at the center of our relationships. Our heart is for our life group to be a place where true koininia will take place. By enjoying good food and facilitating discussion of biblical truths or recent words from the Lord, we endeavor to grow in our relationships with the Lord while also growing in our relationships with one another.
