River Life Fellowship has a heart to reach out to the lost and the needy in our community. Since 2004 we have held regular outreaches in the neighborhood surrounding Lee Street Park in Mooresville. A group from our church meets at the park one Saturday a month and serves a hot meal to the neighborhood residents. This has enabled us to get to know the people there and build relationships with them. We often pray with them for their needs - physical healing, financial needs, spiritual problems, addictions, etc. We have seen the Lord miraculously heal many, and there have been several salvations!!! We often have a worship team at the outreaches to worship and help release the atmosphere of heaven.

The monthly outreaches have opened doors for other ways for us to practically bless those in this community: providing transportation, visiting those in prison, making minor home repairs, home visits, bringing food and clothing, giving out Christmas gifts, financial assistance, visiting those in hospitals and nursing homes, etc.

Our desire is to see a total transformation in this community - for the people to know Jesus and the transforming power of His love, to see families reconciled, addictions broken, and youth find their destiny in God. We desire to see God’s kingdom come and His will be done in Lee Park as it is in heaven.
