Dear Church Family,
Needless to say, this past camp experience was a special one. The Lord really did a work in our young people. I am just blessed to be a part of it. Below is an e-mail that Ken Helser sent me today. I wanted to share it with you.
“Just a quick note to emphasize how blessed and honored I was for you guys to ask me to speak at the camp. I mean it when I say I have never met a greater group of kids. Respectful while free and full of life. I got more out of the week than they did, for that I am sure. What a blessing they are and how blessed you are to have them under your watch. SHEPHERD THEM WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART! And please give them my sincere love and thanks, especially for my Journal that sits right beside me on my desk. I have used it to share with the kids at The Farm and they are quite touched, especial when I tell them that so many are very young. What a great group serving a great God! Love you and please convey to the group my heart for them! Ken”
Ken talked about journaling as part of his talks to us and even had all of the campers make a journal. At the end of the week several of our girls made a journal for him and had everyone at camp write a message for him. It was exceptionally sweet. Just another example of how sweet the week was.
