Scope

The Father has made an incredible opportunity available to all of his children:  access to his world.  At the beginning of and throughout his ministry Jesus consistently announced, “the Kingdom of heaven is here!” (Matt. 3:2;10:7, NKJV)  From his baptism to his resurrection, the Lord showed us how to live as sons and daughters with full access to our Father’s inheritance.  As Christians, we have been given the opportunity to see, hear, smell, taste and touch his “Kingdom”. 

This school is an endeavor towards awakening those senses in each one of us.  In order to accomplish this goal, we will heed Jesus’ words, “God is a Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality)” (John 4:24, AMP).  His Reality will be sought out through a comprehensive study of the Old and New Testaments, highlighting the supernatural interventions, experiences and realities of the Father’s working throughout human history.  In addition, the course will investigate dreams, visions, prophetic revelation, worship, healing, signs and wonders, and all that He’s given to us as an inheritance in his family.

Additional Information

• Fall Semester Tuition:  $150 per person, or $250 for couples (or 2 family members)
  • $25 Deposit due by August 26^th . (Deposit WILL be applied to semester tuition.)
  • $50 1^st payment due by September 5^th (1^st class).
  • $75 2^nd payment due by October 17^th.
  • Spring Semester Tuition:  $150 per person, or $250 for two from same family
    • $75 1^st payment due by January 16^th (1^st class).
    • $75 2^nd payment due by March 6^th.
    • Books:  A book list will be made available online by August 22^nd.  Each student is responsible for purchasing books individually.  (MONEY SAVER: Purchase used online from sites like amazon.com.)
    • Time Requirements:  The RiverLife SOS has only 3 hours of class time per week:  Wednesdays, 7-10 PM.  There will be an additional 2-3 hours of reading/study assignments given each week, as well.  In addition, the School may make periodic schedule adjustments to accommodate guest instructors schedules (e.g. move our regular Wednesday class to Fri or Sat on a certain week).
    • Class Mission Trip:  To be determined.  Most likely will be the last week of April through the first week of May, 2013.  Approximate cost:  $2,200.
    • Attendance:  Students are allowed to miss 3 classes per semester.  After 3 absences, the student will be required to meet with the SOS director in order to discuss the status of the student in the class.
    • Grading & Certificate:  A semester exam and/or paper will be given to assess the retention of material, and a certificate of completion will be awarded for satisfactory completion of course work.
    • Enrollment:  In order to enroll, fill out the SOS 1st Year Application (all applicants) and Pastoral Recommendation Form (if not a member of RiverLife Fellowship).  Turn-in forms with the $25 deposit to Matthew in the church office by August 26^th .  The SOS staff may schedule a personal interview with you and will notify you of your admission status.
