Dear People Who Keep Company With God,

There is a Greek word in the New Testament, Kairos, that’s translated as time, seasons, due time and new time photo.opportunity. When we understand the times and seasons we are living in, we can better cooperate with what the Lord is doing in our lives and take advantage of what is happening instead of being victims of it.

There are seasons when God leads us through valleys and mountain tops.

I remember one of those mountain top times. In 2006, I was sitting in a worship service next to Bob Jones. He was talking to me about what was going on in the spiritual realm during the meeting. That was a special moment in time for me.

A feather from above floated down in front of me and rested on the floor between my feet. Bob looked at me and said, “Byron, this is your time.” Before the end of that year, we experienced a pretty significant move of the Holy Spirit. It was what became known to us as the Holy Spirit River because a real River from heaven flowed in our church (Rev. 22:1-2).

We experienced so much from God during that season. There was healing, equipping and wave after wave of the Father’s love being poured out on us. We were accelerated way past where we were. It ruined us for anything less than the Presence of God dwelling with us.

So much fruit came out of that time.

But that time came to an end, and we entered a valley time. That was a long and dark time. It was puzzling to go from such a blessed time to such a trying time. We lost people, ministries, finances, dreams, callings and some lost heart during that time.

Since Bob Jones spoke to me that evening in 2006, we have experienced a mix of incredible victories and confusing failures. But for the most part, we did what we knew to do. We kept going. In hope against hope, we kept believing in the goodness of God. He has always been with us.

In the last two years, was a time when God began to shift us from that season in the valley. Healing and a measure of restoration began to flow. It has been a transition time for us. God blessed us last year. We ended the year well.

Where do we go from here?

None of us can see the future clearly; we prophesy in part and know in part (1 Cor. 13:9). I am not gifted or called to predict the future, but, like all believers, I am gifted and called to be a co-laborer with Christ in creating the future based on what the Holy Spirit is telling me about things to come (John 14:29 & 16:13).

Here is some of what the Holy Spirit has revealed to me.

God is going to do some new things with us this year. Faith is rising. New visions, dreams, and revelations await us. There will be an increase in the restoration of what we lost, including finances, ministries, gifting and callings. Even those who have lost irreplaceable loved ones will experience restoration within their hearts.

God wants us to experience more of His Presence, joy and peace.

We will learn to walk in greater anointing, authority and power. Isaiah 61 is important for us this year.

Our promotions will materialize.

God has some new endeavors along with continuing some of the old ones in new ways.

The finished work of the Cross, the everlasting Gospel of the Kingdom will become more of a focus this year. God wants to bring the Gospel much deeper into every aspect of our lives.

God is inviting us to co-labor with Him to see these things happen.

It is a new time for us. It is our time.

Many Blessings, BW
