Dear Church Family,

In 2007, we were given 14 acres of property on Shinville Road in Mooresville. The families who owned the property are followers of Christ and wanted it to be used for the Kingdom of God. It was landlocked, so we purchased approximately 3 acres of connecting property that included a house, which gave us road frontage and access into the 14 acres.

We did all this in response to a vision the Lord gave us to share the heart of the Father beyond the typical ministry of our church. We were not just interested in building a bigger church building. We saw a place where many could experience His Presence in church services and also in education, wholeness, healing, recreation and even homes for children.

We made every effort to bring what we saw in the spirit into a practical reality in the natural world. A few years ago we came to the realization that how we were trying to make the vision come to pass was not in line with how God was going to make it happen. We still believe in the vision (the what), but we gave up on the how.

This past July while I was in Argentina I had a very powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit. Out of the encounter the Lord revealed to me that He wanted to do something about the property on Shinville Road. In my heart, I knew we were to sell the property.

When I returned home, I scheduled a meeting with our elders for the following week to talk about all of this. The next day I received an unsolicited inquiry from an elder at Christ Community Church asking if we would consider selling them the property. At that point, I had not discussed what had happened in Argentina with anyone. I felt God was seeing to it just as He showed me in the vision.

Long story short, after much prayer, meetings and conversations Christ Community made us an offer to purchase the property and we accepted it. It could take up to one year to actually close on the property.

What about the vision for the Father’s House? It lives on. I think as we make this step the Lord will begin to reveal the how of the vision. In the meantime, it will help to put needed financial resources in things we see God doing now.

I will leave you with this scripture.

This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed. (Habakkuk 3:2 NLT)

If you have any questions or would like to discuss this further, let me know.

Shalom, Byron
