  • Thursday: Wellness Center Seminar: Maintaining Peace when Stress Intrudes7:00 p.m. in RiverLife’s back building. This seminar is FREE and open to the public. Whether you realize it or not, even the minor setbacks, irritations, frustrations and demands of daily life can be sources of chronic stress that drain emotions, energy, and relationships. Amy Hinshaw, from Liberty University’s Counseling Program, will discuss:  1) Recognizing signs of unperceived stress in yourself and others; 2) How stress may be damaging your attitude, health, performance, and relationships; and 3) Developing practical ways to avoid or reduce stress.
