• This Afternoon: Men’s Ministry Boat Outing— 2:00-6:30 p.m. Men of RiverLife, we invite you to join us this afternoon as we hang out on the lake! Feel free to bring any personal flotation equipment and nourishment you may need.  And don’t forget the sunscreen. We will meet at the Croley’s house and launch the boat(s) from there.   • Thursday: FREE Wellness Center Seminar: Understanding Personality Types to Enhance Communication & Relationships— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in RiverLife’s back building. During this interactive workshop, counseling intern Dave Rosser will discuss and administer the DiSC personality assessment tool, used by more than 1 Million people every year.  Understanding your DiSC profile can help you identify and develop your unique strengths, deal with different personalities, and improve relationships by recognizing the communication needs of others.   • Saturday, August 19:  Children’s Ministry Pool Party— 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Barium Springs Family YMCA in Troutman. This party is for our children’s church kids ages 4-12 and their families. Per YMCA guidelines, all kids under the age of 18 must take a swim test unless being held and supervised AT ALL TIMES by a parent. Please arrive at 5:45 p.m. to be tested.  **If your child wears a lifejacket, it must be Coast Guard approved. The YMCA does have lifejackets on site if you would like to use one of theirs.
