- Sunday: The Playground— The Playground will be “on pause” for September. Please check The Playground’s Facebook Group Page for other creative happenings around town and beyond. - Tuesday: Fall Launch of Women in the Word— 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Prayer Room. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group for women led by Rhonda Bumgarner. This group will meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! - Friday: Seeking His Presence— Seeking His Presence is a new Statesville area LifeLink that is hosted by Bill & Sheryl Bee and Larry & Cheryl Foldoe. This group gathers on the 1st Friday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Bee Hive [210 Ridgeway Avenue | Statesville 28677]. Each meeting begins with a covered dish meal and time of fellowship. The group is watching Bill Johnson’s “Hosting the Presence” video series and studying/discussing the accompanying workbook. If you would like to join us, please contact Cheryl Foldoe [704-775-0508]. - Monday, October 5: Newcomer’s Reception— 7:00 p.m. in the church’s main building. Are you new to RiverLife? We want to get to know you! The Newcomer’s Reception is an occasion for people who are new or relatively new to RiverLife to learn more about the DNA (vision, passion, history) of our fellowship, to get to know the leadership a bit better and to get plugged into the various life groups and ministries of our church. - October 9-10: RiverKids (Ages 6-12) Superhero Sleepover— 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 a.m. in RLF’s back building. Plan to dress as your favorite SUPERHERO (no VILLIANS please) and be prepared to have a super night of fun!!! 4-5 year olds are more than welcome to join us Friday evening for dinner and a movie and then go home when ready for bed. - Sunday, October 25: RiverLife Fall Festival— 4:00 p.m. at Breezy Meadows Farm [803 Linwood Road | Mooresville 28115]. Philip Wicker and friends will be playing live Bluegrass music for us!
