Dear RiverLife Family,

Yes it is true we will be back in our building this Sunday October 14! Give a big clap to God and the construction crew. Based on the comments I have received everyone is ready to be back home. We will do one service this Sunday at 10:00 AM.

I have gotten a lot of questions so I am going to try to address them below.

1. Will the building be completely finished by this Sunday? No, the clouds, lighting and HVAC vents will not be installed. The installation of the insulation was delayed, which delayed the rest of the work. The ceiling will be installed and we will have temporary lighting and the HVAC will work, it will just not look pretty. You will see duct work, wires, etc. hanging from the ceiling, but it is safe for Sunday service. It will be completed the following week.

2. Is the roof safe? The trusses are stronger and capable of bearing more weight than originally. It is safer than ever.

3. Do we have the money to pay for it? Not yet, we have already paid $30,000, which God and you provided and we will owe approximately $50,000 more when all the invoices come in. We are working diligently to secure this money and pay the invoices on time. I trust God we will have all the finances as we need them as we have thus far. Please continue to pray and seek the mind of Christ about the finances.

4. Why are we having only one service? We believe it is important for the church body to be together right now. It just seems to be the heart of the Lord. That is my best answer. Right now the plan is to do one service this coming Sunday and Sunday Oct. 21. Beyond that we are waiting on the Lord. We will have a better sense of His heart around this in the next couple of weeks.

5. Did we lose people during this time? Likely we have, but we do not really know yet. Is that bad? Only if they left apart from the leading of the Holy Spirit. I think we gained some people during our time at Amstar, but again we really do not know yet.

6. What are you seeing for the church going forward? God does have a new normal for us and the fog is lifting more and more daily. I can’t address it all here, but I believe the Father’s Living Room is going to be manifested in increasing measure in our midst. The Holy Spirit River is not finished in our church.

7. Does the church need to be cleaned? So glad you asked. Yes and we need a lot of help. We have scheduled this Friday afternoon and Saturday to clean. I will send a separate announcement out on that with the details, but we really need women, men and teens. The building is pretty dirty from the deconstruction, construction and not being used for 8 weeks.

Shalom, Byron
