Dear RiverLife Family,

The construction crew has finished the work associated with stablizing and preparing the trusses to be repaired. They have jacked the trusses back in place and leveled the roof. Once we hear from the insurance company and provided they cover the repair cost they will send out another structural engineer who will approve the repair method for the trusses. I have been in contact with the insurance company this week and they are indicating we should hear from them by the end of next week. So right now there is no further work the construction crew can do.

When all this happened we determined it was best to not solicit any finances from the congregation. You guys have been so generous and have given so much extra this year we did not want to wear you out asking for more. We determined to only ask for missions or special ministry opportunities. However, this week we received and unsolicited donation of approximately $16,000 toward out building needs. The Lord is so good!!!

The donor suggested we give the congregation an opportunity to match this generous gift although they did not tie the contribution to receiving a matching amount.

So, if you would like to give any amount toward the building it would certainly be a blessing. You can give on-line or during our regular offering. Just make sure you indicate the donation is for the building.

I continue to be thankful for the construction crew and the excellent work they have done and our plan is to use this same crew to put the building back together.

I am thankful God has provided a place to meet at Amstar and they have allowed us to store some of our equipment at the theater. Everyone seems be enjoying all of us being together and getting out at 11:00!! I think is has been a blessing for all those who do ministry on Sunday mornings such as children workers, worship team, etc. to get to do one service. God is using this time to give us some rest.

You have been so graceful and supportive during this time. Your prayers have been very effective and powerful. Thank you!

Thank the Lord for that generous contribution.

Let’s continue to pray for favor around the finances, insurance and a speedy safe repair and restoration of the building.

All glory to Jesus Christ. Byron
