RiverLife,

Greetings from Cheppad. Wanted to send you an update from the team here at Light of Hope.

After three flights we arrived safely at Light of Hope on Sunday at about 6:00 in the morning. We spent most of the day Sunday and Monday relaxing, catching up on sleep and eating some really great food.

Debbie preached about Jesus’ love at the Mission’s Sunday night service. It was really great and was received well. We had some words of knowledge for a few people, they responded and we’re believing that The Lord is going to meet them, set them free and heal them.

Yesterday (Monday) the youth conference began. I don’t know the actual number of kids that are here but it seems like it’s more than last year. We only meet once on Monday and it always seems to be a bit of a warmup service. Last night had components of that but it also seemed easier and more graceful than in years past. The Lord moved through Marlin as he shared his testimony and the gospel message and gave the youth an opportunity to accept Jesus as their Lord and step into relationship with the Father. We released a few more words of knowledge as well.

The air here is pregnant with anticipation. We feel it and we’ve challenged the youth to be expectant. This is RLF’s fifth trip to support this conference. All the plowing that was being done in years past is really paying off.

Today (Tuesday) Debbie and Rebecca are sharing in the two morning meetings and Tommy is going to share tonight. This team is amazing!

I can’t express how excited we are to be here. Thank you so much for your support, both spiritual and practical. I look forward to giving you all more reports as The Lord unfolds the week and reveals His goodness to all these precious youth and workers here at Light of Hope. Stay tuned for some amazing stuff to come.

Ryan, on behalf of the team
