Martha, Mary, and Lazarus

Sometimes our faith will feel hopeless. However, we are learning to walk through those times and grow in our relationship with the Lord. We understood the story of Martha and Mary in Luke chapter 10 to be about priorities. While this is true, there is more to the story. We can also see it as two sisters in the same family, having different purposes and callings. God has hardwired Mary’s heart and Martha’s hands into every believer. If we are truly going to have the heart of Mary and the hands of Martha, it only comes by resurrection power, the power that raised Lazarus – and Jesus – from the grave.
