Mission Has A Church

Isaiah was caught up to the throne of God in a spectacular encounter (Isaiah 6:1-9). As beautiful as it was, the outcome was what God was looking for. Encounters are a means to an end, not an end in themselves. “Who will go for Us?” Isn’t it interesting that God is always looking for someone to go for Him? He could send angels or even better He could go Himself. But, He chose us. God is a missionary God. Missions begin with Who God is. Missions are participation with the life of God. The Church doesn’t have a mission. Mission has a church.
