Power of Pentecost

On the day of Pentecost, Peter told the people that God was offering TWO gifts to all who would repent, believe and be baptized: Forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Both are foundational for living a whole, peaceful and empowered life. Christianity does not exist apart from both of them. Forgiveness comes from the blood of Christ being poured out for us on the cross. There are over 7,000 promises recorded in the Bible, but there is only one “The Promise of the Father” The Father has given us His real self, the very core of His being, the essence of who He is, the Holy Spirit.
