Powerlessness is Power

We live in a culture that is becoming more and more combative. Dominance is more interested in winning than being truthful. Love is not about victory. Love is seeing the beauty in our differences. In the Kingdom of God, powerlessness is power. That is what Jesus was telling us when He said, “If someone slaps you on the right cheek, offer the other cheek also.” (Matthew 5:39) It is in our weakness, not our strength, that the power of God works best in our lives.
