Sons of Abraham

In Genesis 15 God made a Covenant with Abram. He promised him land, innumerable descendants, special benefits and an ongoing relationship between his descendants and God. Nothing is asked for in return, neither Abraham nor his descendants “owe” God anything in exchange for all His blessings or the relationship. It was all by faith. The New Covenant is rooted in the Covenant God made with Abraham.
