The Blood Covenant

The blood of Christ is one of the strangest, most powerful, and the heavenly things God has given us. It lies at the very root and foundation of both the Old Covenant, but especially of the New Covenant. The difference between the Old and New Covenants is simply this: the old is sealed by the blood of animals, and the new is sealed by the blood of God. This is what makes the New Covenant so powerful. The Blood Covenant is the back drop, the frame work for our spiritual lives. It gives context to all we do and it is God’s way for us to have a relationship with Him.
