The Truth Fight

In John 10:10, Jesus explains why He is gathering His flock, that they might have life and have it abundantly. That is God’s dream for all of us. But there is a devil, who is a liar, thief, and destroyer that we must contend with to have all God intends for us (1 Corinthians 15:24-25). The devil uses culture’s thinking and our flesh patterns against us. He also puts thoughts in our minds that sound like God or us talking, but it’s not either. Receiving a love for the truth is a powerful weapon against all the enemy’s works (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10).
