  • This Morning: For the Joy of the Word— 9:00-9:50 a.m. in the Youth Room in RiverLife’s back building. For the Joy of the Word is a fun year-long journey through the Bible with Holy Spirit as our guide. We look at the references to Jesus, the hand of the Father, and the work of the Holy Spirit in each book. On Sunday mornings we introduce the new readings for the week (examining culture, history, location, historical timeline, etc.) and discuss the exciting things we’ve learned during the past week. We are reading the Old Testament alongside the New Testament, with Psalms and Proverbs. Anyone is welcome! You can also join our Facebook group discussion or watch the class on YouTube.   • This Afternoon: Lunch with Crowns of Glory (Ages 50+)— The Crowns of Glory Life Group will gather for lunch after today’s service at the Jolly’s house.   • Monday: Knowing His Heart (Mooresville)— 7:00 p.m. at the Croley’s house. Jim Hill, the Senior Pastor & International Director of His Heart Missions, leads our Bible study group on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month. We focus on learning the ways of God—from Scripture and personal testimonies—to equip us in hearing and walking with God in the times we now live.   • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Prayer Room. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner, that meets on the 1st, 3rd (and sometimes 5th) Tuesdays of the month. This month, we are studying the book of Ephesians. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome!   • Tuesday: Tidal Wave (Middle School Youth in Grades 6-8)— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church’s back building. For more info, contact Melissa [704-658-7151 / [email protected]].
  • Wednesday: Intercessory Prayer Meeting— 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Prayer Room. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: CONNECTIONS: Parent Child Attachment Workshop— 10: 30 a.m. to 12 noon in the back building on Wednesdays. Join our 10-week (March 14-May 16) group-oriented, interactive counseling series to foster skills for effective parenting. Free childcare is available; please provide number and ages of children.   • Wednesday: High School Youth— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church’s back building. Email Cory [[email protected]] for details.
  • Wednesday: Rio de Vida (Hispanic Ministry) Bible Study— 7:00 p.m. at Carmen’s house in Statesville. We are gathering monthly on a Wednesday evening for a Bible study and time of fellowship.   • Thursday: Cancer Companions Course— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in RiverLife’s back building. Cancer Companions, a Christ-centered ministry that reaches out to anyone in treatment, post treatment or their loved ones, is offering a FREE 9-week course in the Lake Norman area at RiverLife on Thursday evenings. We are currently offering this course every spring and fall for adult or teen cancer victims, their families and/or caregivers. Spanish interpretation is available.   • Thursday: Healing Rooms— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church’s main building. Everyone is welcome! Feel free to invite your family and friends to drop by to receive prayer for physical healing. “By His wounds, we are healed!” Isaiah 53:5. Questions? Email us at: [email protected].
  • Thursday: RiverLife Men’s Ministry— Join us at 7:00 p.m. at the Salty Caper in Mooresville for our monthly gathering. All men are invited. Contact Jacob Whitlow [[email protected]] for more information.
  • Friday: The Playground— 6:15 p.m. at the Baker’s house. We share a potluck meal and then enjoy extended, creative, presence-driven worship and prayer, as the sounds of Heaven are released. All are welcome, including those who desire to worship through creative expression. Our church is participating in the Power of the Cross Identity Rally again this year. This evangelistic outreach is designed to share with the community how one’s identity can change through the Power of the Cross. Volunteers are needed to serve during the Rally in a variety of capacities. You can serve for a single night or for multiple nights.
