• This Morning: For the Joy of the Word— 9:00-9:50 a.m. in the Youth Room in RiverLife’s back building. For the Joy of the Word is a fun year-long journey through the Bible with Holy Spirit as our guide. We look at the references to Jesus, the hand of the Father, and the work of the Holy Spirit in each book. On Sunday mornings we introduce the new readings for the week (examining culture, history, location, historical timeline, etc.) and discuss the exciting things we’ve learned during the past week.   • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Prayer Room. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner, that meets on the 1st, 3rd (and sometimes 5th) Tuesdays of the month. This month, we are studying the book of Ephesians. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome!   • Wednesday: CONNECTIONS: Parent Child Attachment Workshop— 10: 30 a.m. to 12 noon in the back building on Wednesdays. Join our 10-week (March 14-May 16) group-oriented, interactive counseling series to foster skills for effective parenting. Free childcare is available; please provide number and ages of children.   • Thursday: National Day of Prayer— This year’s theme is UNITY and is based on Ephesians 4:3: “Making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”  Join us in praying for individuals, churches, and spiritual leaders in America to unify in humility for the next great move of God in our nation. Read the National Prayer.

  • Friday: Seeking His Presence (Mount Ulla)— 6:00 p.m. at the Foldoe’s house. Join us for a covered dish fellowship dinner and time in the Word. We will watch/discuss “The Essential Guide to Healing” DVD series by Randy Clark & Bill Johnson. Come be equipped by this practical, step-by-step guide to pray for the sick and minister God’s healing power in a hurting world.   • Sunday, May 6: Camp Morley Bake Sale— Remember to bring some extra pocket money to church next Sunday so that you can enjoy fresh baked goods before and after the service! Proceeds will support our youth summer camp.
  • Sunday, May 20: Graduate Recognition— On Sunday, May 20 we will honor graduates.   • May 25-27: RLF Camping Trip at Fort Hamby State Park— This is a great time for our church family to get together for fun, good food and great fellowship. Singles, couples and/or families are welcome to join us. The group campsite is for tents only, but if you are not a tent camper there are places close to the group camping site for campers and RV’s. $10 non–refundable per person deposit is due by Sunday, May 20. The total cost depends on the number of campers and is usually $10-15 (excluding food). The balance will be collected the weekend of the camping trip.
