Christ Is Risen: This Good News was promised long ago by God’s prophets in the Old Testament. It is the Good News about His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who came as a human baby, born into King David’s royal family line; and by being raised from the dead He was proved to be the mighty Son of God, with the holy nature of God Himself. And now, through Christ, all the kindness of God has been poured out upon us undeserving sinners; and now He is sending us out around the world to tell all people everywhere the great things God has done for them, so that they, too, will believe and obey Him. - Friday: The Cornelius Life Group— 7:30 p.m. at the Koshy’s house [16501 Green Dolphin Lane | Cornelius 28031]. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month. - Wednesday, April 15 Deadline: Collection for The Odd Sock— We are collecting unmatched and unwanted socks for distribution in Romania. The socks will be distributed to street children, the poor, and the homeless through a local Christian non-profit in Romania. Donations will be collected in the box in the foyer. Financial donations are requested in lieu of NEW socks to help cover bulk purchases, transportation and distribution costs. If you would like to make a financial donation, ask Tim Ulrich for details. - Saturday, April 25: Community Yard Sale (Fundraiser for Camp Morley)— 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Do you have some stuff you want to sell at the yard sale? Reserve your spot for $15 (money goes directly towards Camp Morley). Let us know if you need a table (4ft or 5ft). Tables are limited and available on first come, first serve basis. Spots will be set up by 7:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.
