Prophetic Teams Application
  • This Morning: Morning Worship Service— Join us in person in our Sanctuary or virtually (on our RiverLife Media YouTube Channel or our RiverLife Media Facebook page) for our morning worship service starting at 10:00 AM. Pastor Byron will share.
  • This Morning: High School Youth Sunday School Class (Grades 9-12)— The high school youth Sunday school class meets on Sunday mornings from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon in the youth room in RiverLife’s back building. Come and join us! Reach out to Cory [[email protected]] for more information.
  • Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 PM at Brian and Jo’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time of fellowship and waffles starting at 6:30 PM. Then, around 7:00 PM, we transition to a time of worship followed by a Bible study. Finally, we like to wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead. So if you love waffles and want to build community with other young adults and pursue God alongside fellow believers, come check out our group! Contact Brian Stepanek [704-618-3792] for more details.
  • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon in the Sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships, and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! For more information, please contact Rhonda [704-528-8000 / [email protected]].
  • Tuesday: Finding Treasure in the Word (Troutman)— You are invited to join us at the Greatheads’ house from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM for finger foods and our adult Bible Study. Psalm 119:162 says, “I will rejoice at Your Word as one who finds great treasure.” So bring your Bible as we go on an exciting treasure hunt together!   • Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship, followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests and Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: Journey through the Living Word— 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Sanctuary. You are invited to join us on a journey through the Bible with the Holy Spirit as our guide! We are halfway through the Bible, and you can still join in. The reading schedule is located on the white desk in the foyer.   • Thursday: Healing Rooms— 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the church’s main building. Everyone is welcome! Feel free to invite your family and friends to drop by to receive prayer for physical healing on the 3rd Thursday of each month. “By His wounds, we are healed!” Isaiah 53:5. Questions?   • Friday: Crowns of Glory (Ages 55+)— This month, the Crowns of Glory Life Group will meet at 11:30 AM in the church’s back building. Please bring a lunch and something to drink. Dessert will be provided. After lunch, stay and play some games. Contact Pam Jolly for details [704-301-4890 / [email protected]].
  • Saturday: Church Board Game Night— Game nights are back! We will meet in the back building from 6:00 PM until we’re done. We’ll have plenty of board games, but feel free to bring your own. Please bring a snack to share. This is an event geared toward adults. No childcare is available. Reach out to Cory [[email protected]] with any questions.
The Father’s Table provides food assistance to families in our fellowship and community. Food and monetary donations are welcome! For monetary donations, please use our website or app, or put “Father’s Table” on the memo line of your gift.   • Saturday, August 26: Tidal Wave (Middle School) Lake Party— All RiverLife middle schoolers are invited to a Tidal Wave Lake Party at the Buehler’s house! Bring your life jacket and join the group for subs, snacks, drinks, and fun on the lake from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. The cost to attend is $5. If you don’t have a life jacket, please get in touch with Stacy [704-763-5389 / [email protected]] or Rebecca [704-737-6203 / [email protected]]; a limited supply is available for you to borrow.
  • Sunday, August 27: Baptism Sunday— If you would like to be water baptized, please contact Kristen [704-664-3540 / [email protected]].
  • Wednesday, August 30: Youth Group Kickoff— Join us from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the church’s back building for the first day of youth group! Come prepared for games and competition in our epic gauntlet of challenges to see which team will be known as the champions of RiverLife Gladiator!   • Monday, August 28: Sojourn Women’s Ministry Meeting— Women (ages 18+) are invited to join us from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the Sanctuary for our August gathering. Sojourn is where we set aside our busy schedules to worship, build relationships, pray, fellowship, edify, and encourage, reinforcing our faith and identity.   • Friday, October 20 – Sunday, October 22: Ruach Sojourn Women’s Retreat— Registration is now open! If you are a female RiverLife attendee or past retreat guest, we invite you to register for our annual Sojourn Women’s Retreat. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, September 17. Click the link below to register and contact Paula Stark [704-737-6158 / [email protected]]  for more information.
