  • This Morning: Morning Worship Service— Join us in person in our Sanctuary or virtually (on our RiverLife Media YouTube Channel or our RiverLife Media Facebook page) for our morning worship service starting at 10:00 AM. Cory Meade will share.
  • This Morning: High School Youth Sunday School Class (Grades 9-12)— The high school youth Sunday school class meets on Sunday mornings from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon in the youth room in RiverLife’s back building. Come and join us! Reach out to Cory [[email protected]] for more information.
  • Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 PM at Brian and Jo’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time of fellowship and waffles starting at 6:30 PM. Then, around 7:00 PM, we transition to a time of worship followed by a Bible study. Finally, we like to wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead.   •  Who God Is & Who We Are in Him (Mooresville)—Join us from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Sharon’s house. Discovering the true nature of God and who we are in Him is the focus of our group. Adults (men and women) of all ages are welcome! No childcare is available. Group Leaders are Sharon Mast and Brian & Anita Kurn. For more information, contact Sharon [503-577-4632].
  • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon in the Sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships, and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! For more information, please get in touch with Rhonda [704-528-8000 / [email protected]].
  • Tuesday: Finding Treasure in the Word (Troutman)— You are invited to join us at the Greatheads’ house from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM for finger foods and our adult Bible Study. Psalm 119:162 says, “I will rejoice at Your Word as one who finds great treasure.” So bring your Bible as we go on an exciting treasure hunt together!   • Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship, followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests and Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: Journey through the Living Word— 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Sanctuary. You are invited to join us on a journey through the Bible with the Holy Spirit as our guide! We are halfway through the Bible, and you can still join in. The reading schedule is located on the white desk in the foyer.   • Thursday: Men of Fire (Men’s Fellowship)— 7:00 PM in the church’s back building. We focus on the Scriptures, prayer, and building one another up. We meet to support all the men in our fellowship and the church at large. Gathering in a small group helps us to develop closer relationships and encourages us to stand together in our walk with Jesus. Contact Tommy McCraw [[email protected]] for more information.
  • Saturday, August 26: Tidal Wave (Middle School Youth) Lake Party— All RiverLife middle schoolers are invited to a Tidal Wave Lake Party at the Buehlers’ house (111 Castles Gate Dr., Mooresville)! Bring your life jacket (required) and join the group for subs, snacks, drinks, and fun on the lake from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. The cost to attend is $5. If you don’t have a life jacket, please get in touch with Stacy [704-763-5389 / [email protected]] or Rebecca [704-737-6203 / [email protected]]; a limited supply is available for you to borrow.
The Father’s Table provides food assistance to families in our fellowship and community. Food and monetary donations are welcome! For monetary donations, please use our website or app, or put “Father’s Table” on the memo line of your gift.   • Sunday, August 27: RiverLife Wilmington Church Service— 2:30 PM in Wilmington. Email Ryan and Mary [[email protected]] to get on the official mailing list, or follow RLW on Instagram [@riverlifewilmington] for updates and meeting locations.
  • Donations for RiverLife Wilmington: If you would like to sow into the launch of our RiverLife Wilmington church plant, cash or checks (made out to RiverLife and clearly labeled RLF Wilmington) can be placed in the offering plate or dropped in the offering box in the church foyer. If giving digitally, please choose RLF Wilmington from the drop-down Fund Menu.
  • Monday, August 28: Sojourn Women’s Ministry Meeting— Women (ages 18+) are invited to join us from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the Sanctuary for our August gathering with Mary Mogusu. Sojourn is where we set aside our busy schedules to worship, build relationships, pray, fellowship, edify, and encourage, reinforcing our faith and identity.   • Wednesday, August 30: Youth Group Kickoff— Join us from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the church’s back building for the first day of youth group! Come prepared for games and competition in our epic gauntlet of challenges to see which team will be known as the champions of RiverLife Gladiator! Bring a red shirt and a blue shirt to change into once we give you teams. Contact Oliver for more information [[email protected]].
  • Friday, September 1: Draw Near Worship & Encounter Night— 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the Sanctuary. You are invited to a night of worship dedicated to the Lord and His presence! Come. Rest in Him; praise Him; open your heart to Him, and pursue His heart. Childcare is available for children ages 2 -5 years old. 
  • Saturday, September 30: Dream Boot Camp— 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Registration is now open! God speaks in dreams, but we must learn to understand His language! Learn how God communicates in dreams and develop an understanding of symbolism and steps in interpretation. Join us for this one-day seminar to grow in learning the voice of the Lord in the night season! Bring a lunch and a drink. The cost to attend is $15 and includes materials.
