• This Morning: Sunday Morning Worship Service— Join us in-person in our sanctuary or virtually (on our RiverLife Media YouTube Channel or on our RiverLife Media Facebook page) for our morning worship service, starting at 10:00 a.m. Byron Wicker will share.
• This Morning: High School Youth (Grades 9-12)— High school youth group meets on Sunday mornings from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the youth room in RiverLife’s back building. Come and join us! Reach out to Cory [[email protected]] for more information.

• This Afternoon: Tidal Wave (Middle School Youth) Event— 12:30-3:30 p.m. at the Beuhler’s House. Middle School Youth (Grades 6-8) are invited to join us for our Lake Party! Cost is $5 per person. Subs, snacks and drinks will be provided. *** All students will be required to wear a life jacket. Please let us know if you need us to provide you with one. • This Evening: Children’s Ministry Pool Party— 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Troutman Barium Springs Iredell County Recreational Center. We are only allowed 50 people, so an RSVP is needed. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Email Joe & Kim [[email protected]] to RSVP.
• Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! • Wednesday: Love Life Charlotte Day of Prayer & Fasting— We are partnering with several local congregations and Love Life Charlotte for a Day of Prayer and Fasting for breakthrough in our state and region! We believe our combined prayers will help tip the bowls in Heaven (Revelation 5:8)! Love Life is a pro-life ministry dedicated to uniting and mobilizing the church to create a culture of Love and Life that will bring an end to the abortion and orphan crisis. You are invited to join us interceding for: 1) All People Involved with Abortion, 2) Awakening in the Church, and 3) Church Unity & Mobilization.
• Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests as well as Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
• Thursday: Men of Fire (Men’s Fellowship)— 7:00 p.m. in the church’s back building. We focus on the Scriptures, prayer and building up one another. We meet to support all the men in our fellowship as well as the fellowship as a whole. Gathering in a small group helps us to develop closer relationships and encourages us to stand together in our walk with Jesus. Contact Tommy McCraw [[email protected]] for more information.
• Saturday: Men’s Prayer Group— 7:00 a.m. in the Prayer Room. This prayer time has been a free-flowing mixture of worship, testimony and prayer. We seek the Lord’s heart and pray accordingly! Please text Jeff Miller [704-775-6652] on Friday for our Saturday meeting details.

• Saturday, August 27: Love Life Prayer Walk— 9:00-11:00 a.m. at 3236 Latrobe Drive, Charlotte, NC 28211. We will join Love Life and several other area churches praying over Charlotte’s busiest abortion clinic. This will not be a protest, but instead a Gracious Stand for Life with a message of “LIFE instead of death, HOPE rather than despair, and FORGIVENESS without condemnation”. You are invited to join us! Sign up HERE.

• Monday, August 29: Sojourn Women’s Ministry Meeting— Plan to join us from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary for our August Sojourn Women’s Ministry Meeting with Carol Cook! Sojourn is a place for women to connect, catch-up, be encouraged, feel loved and build faith as we share our stories of struggle and triumph. Contact Paula [[email protected]] for more information.

• October 21-23: 2022 Sojourn Women’s Retreat— We are so excited to be returning to High Pastures this year from Friday, October 21 to Sunday, October 23! Our theme is “Emerge” and is based on Philippians 3:12-14. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis and space is limited, so REGISTER today.
