- Monday: Sojourn Women’s Ministry— 7:00 p.m. in the main building sanctuary. Cathy Hill will be sharing her unique journey with us. For those of you who don’t know her, she has described herself at an “Accidental Missionary” and has spent much of her married life either living in or traveling to South America. Please join us for some sweet fellowship and wonderful worship as we gather to hear what the Lord has done! Hope to see you there!
- Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Prayer Room. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner, that meets on the 1st, 3rd (and sometimes 5th) Tuesdays of the month. We will be studying the book of Nehemiah. - Saturday, September 10: “WHO DO YOU SAY I AM?” Seminar— from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Main Building. Come spend the morning learning about IDENTITY, during this FREE seminar hosted by RiverLife’s Sozo Ministry. We will dig into GOD’s Word and see first who He says we are (our identity in CHRIST). Then we will dig into the Word to see who He says He is (GOD’s Identity) and how that concept of Him influences, molds, and determines how well we can embrace and walk out our identity. Sorry, no childcare will be provided.
Ministry in Focus:
- Tidal Wave (Middle School Youth in Grades 6-8)— Tidal Wave meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in RLF’s back building. We will resume our regular schedule (we have been on summer break) after Labor Day on Tuesday, September 6. Our desire is to create an environment for middle school youth to grow in their personal relationship with the Lord, in their knowledge and love of the Word, in their spiritual gifts and in worship. - Saturday, September 24: Community Pregnancy Center of Lake Norman’s 25th Annual LifeWalk— The LifeWalk is an opportunity to raise money as well as awareness about the needs of women facing crisis pregnancies.
