  • This Morning: Morning Worship Service— Join us in person in our Sanctuary or virtually (on our RiverLife Media YouTube Channel or our RiverLife Media Facebook page) for our morning worship service starting at 10:00 AM. Pastor Byron will share.
  • This Morning: High School Youth Sunday School Class (Grades 9-12)— The high school youth Sunday school class meets on Sunday mornings from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon in the youth room in RiverLife’s back building. Come and join us! Reach out to Cory [[email protected]] for more information.
  • This Afternoon: Prophetic Teams Interest Meeting— If you attended RiverLife’s recent Prophetic Bootcamp and are interested in serving on a prophetic team here at church, please stick around after service for a brief informational meeting, and click the button below to complete your application. For questions, please get in touch with Jenn Forte [585-309-6939 / [email protected]]
Prophetic Teams Application
This Afternoon: Registration Opens for Sojourn Women’s Retreat— Registration for this year’s retreat opens today at 4:00 PM! Please see below for the registration link (under “Calendar of Upcoming Events”).
  • Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 PM at Brian and Jo’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time of fellowship and waffles starting at 6:30 PM. Then, around 7:00 PM, we transition to a time of worship followed by a Bible study. Finally, we like to wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead. So if you love waffles and want to build community with other young adults and pursue God alongside fellow believers, come check out our group! Contact Brian Stepanek [704-618-3792] for more details.
  • Monday: Who God Is & Who We Are in Him (Mooresville)— 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Sharon’s house. Discovering the true nature of God and who we are in Him is the focus of our group. Adults (men and women) of all ages are welcome! No childcare is available. Group Leaders are Sharon Mast and Brian & Anita Kurn. For more information, contact Sharon [503-577-4632].
  • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon in the Sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships, and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! For more information, please contact Rhonda [704-528-8000 / [email protected]].
  • Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship, followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests and Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: Journey through the Living Word— 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Sanctuary. You are invited to join us on a journey through the Bible with the Holy Spirit as our guide! We are halfway through the Bible, and you can still join in. The reading schedule is located on the white desk in the foyer.   • Wednesday: Volley for Service (H.S. Youth Bible Study)— 7:00 PM. Join us at RiverLife this Wednesday for a High School Youth Bible Study about living in the Kingdom of God! The first 45 minutes of the study will be a pickup volleyball game, but if you don’t prefer to play, that’s ok! We’re happy to have you join us as a spectator, or you can arrive at 7:45 PM for our Bible Study in the back building. Contact Oliver [[email protected]] for more information.
  • Thursday: Men of Fire (Men’s Fellowship)— 7:00 PM in the church’s back building. We focus on the Scriptures, prayer, and building one another up. We meet to support all the men in our fellowship and the church at large. Gathering in a small group helps us to develop closer relationships and encourages us to stand together in our walk with Jesus. Contact Tommy McCraw [[email protected]] for more information.
  • Friday: Deadline to Register for RiverLife School of Ministry— Our RiverLife School of Ministry is now accepting 1st & 2nd Year Student Applications for Fall 2023! See below (under “Calendar of Upcoming Events”) for more information and a link to register.
The Father’s Table provides food assistance to families in our fellowship and community. Food and monetary donations are welcome! For monetary donations, please use our website or app, or put “Father’s Table” on the memo line of your gift.   • Saturday, August 19th: Church Board Game Night— Game nights are back! We will meet in the back building from 6:00 PM until we’re done. We’ll have plenty of board games, but feel free to bring your own. Please bring a snack to share. This is an event geared toward adults. No childcare is available.
