• This Morning: Sunday Morning Worship Service— Join us in-person in our sanctuary or virtually (on our RiverLife Media YouTube Channel or on our RiverLife Media Facebook page) for our morning worship service, starting at 10:00 a.m.

• This Afternoon: Church Baptism— 1:30 p.m. at Lake Norman. Please talk to Mya after the service if you would like to be water baptized.
• Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 p.m. at Brian and Austin’s place in Cornelius. On Monday nights we will be serving some waffles and spending some time worshipping God followed by a short Bible study. This group is for anyone out of high school up to around age 30. Our goal for this group is to create a relaxed and fun fellowship group, where everyone feels comfortable to worship God how they wish. However, we also believe that inside of every believer is a greater purpose, and we want to create an environment that encourages real spiritual growth and allows young adults to put their spiritual gifts into practice. We meet every Monday at 6:30 p.m. and our worship starts at 7:00 p.m. Contact Brian Stepanek [704-618-3792] for more details.

• Thursday, August 19: “God’s Promise in the Stars” with Larry Foldoe— 7:00 p.m. in RiverLife’s back building. There is a message in the heavens that has been hijacked and corrupted for centuries but faithful scholars and researchers have now made it available to us today. This is not fortune telling but “Truth Telling” and learning how God named the stars to tell His story. Come see a presentation of our Lord as Redeemer, Sacrifice and King, and returning Judge of the Earth.

• Wednesday, August 25: Love Life Charlotte Day of Prayer & Fasting— We are partnering with several local congregations and Love Life Charlotte for a Day of Prayer and Fasting for breakthrough in our city. We believe our combined prayers will help tip the bowls in Heaven (Revelation 5:8)! Love Life is a pro-life ministry dedicated to uniting and mobilizing the church to create a culture of Love and Life that will bring an end to the abortion and orphan crisis. • Saturday, August 28: Love Life Prayer Walk— 9:00-11:00 a.m. at 3236 Latrobe Drive, Charlotte, NC 28211. We will join Love Life and several other area churches praying over Charlotte’s busiest abortion clinic. This will not be a protest, but instead a Gracious Stand for Life with a message of “LIFE instead of death, HOPE rather than despair, and FORGIVENESS without condemnation”.
