  • This Morning: Sunday Morning Worship Service— Join us in-person in our sanctuary or virtually (on our RiverLife Media YouTube Channel or on our RiverLife Media Facebook page) for our morning worship service, starting at 10:00 a.m. Randall Worley will share.
  • This Morning: High School Youth Sunday School Class (Grades 9-12)— The high school youth Sunday school class meets on Sunday mornings from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the youth room in RiverLife’s back building. Come and join us! Reach out to Cory [[email protected]] for more information.

  • This Evening: Rio de Vida (Hispanic Ministry) Christmas Dinner— 5:30 p.m. in RiverLife’s back building. Rio de Vida will gather to share a holiday meal and time of fellowship. For more information or to RSVP, contact Luis or Rebekah [[email protected]].
  • This Evening: High School Youth (Grades 9-12) Christmas Party— High School Youth are invited to join us for our Christmas Party! Reach out to Cory [[email protected]] for details.
  • Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 p.m. at Brian and Jo’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while also remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time for fellowship and waffles starting at 6:30 p.m. We then transition around 7:00 p.m. to a time of worship followed by a Bible study. We then like to wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead of us. If you love waffles and are looking to build community with other young adults and pursue God alongside fellow believers, come check our group out!   • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays.   • Tuesday: Finding Treasure in the Word— 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Tom & Debbie Greathead’s house in Troutman. You are invited to join us for an adult Bible Study. Psalm 119:162 says “I will rejoice at Your Word as one who finds great treasure.” Bring your Bible as we go on an exciting treasure hunt together! Tony and Cindy Baker are leading the Bible Study.   • Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests as well as Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: Tidal Wave (Middle School Youth in Grades 6-8) Christmas Party— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church’s back building. Our desire is to create an environment for middle schoolers to grow in their personal relationship with the Lord, in their knowledge and love of the Word, in their spiritual gifts and in worship. We also believe that social interaction is a key part of a group of this age and have plenty of opportunities for fun and activities.   • Thursday: Practical Christianity (Mooresville)— You are invited to join us at 6:00 p.m. at the Croley’s house for a covered dish dinner! Our gathering includes a Bible study with prayer and discussion about relevant topics that are practical to everyday life. Bring your Bible and come join us!   • Thursday: Healing Rooms— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church’s main building. Everyone is welcome! Feel free to invite your family and friends to drop by to receive prayer for physical healing on the 3rd Thursday of each month. “By His wounds, we are healed!” Isaiah 53:5. Questions?   • Sunday, December 18: Venezuela Christmas Outreach Deadline— Feliz Navidad Venezuela will take place on Friday, December 23rd at a Community Center that is being established in Maturin, Venezuela. Around 200 children are expected to attend. Feliz Navidad Venezuela will feature a presentation of the Gospel and will include gifts, food, and fun for the children who participate. Christmas grocery bags (gifts of food) will also be given to about 100 families from the community to bless and help them during this holiday season. We invite you to sow into this outreach with prayers and donations. If you would like to give, cash or checks (made out to RiverLife Fellowship and clearly labeled Venezuela Christmas Outreach) can be placed in the offering plate or dropped in the offering box in the church foyer.   • Sunday, December 18: RiverLife Christmas Service— Plan to join us at 10:00 a.m. for our RiverLife Christmas Service with Communion! We’ll enjoy special music and a WONDER-FULL time in His presence! Coffee, hot chocolate, hot tea and an assortment of pastries will be served. Parents, there will be no Children’s Ministry (ages 4-12), but the Nurseries (infant-age 3) will be open. O Come Let Us Adore Him, Christ the Lord! PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO Sunday Morning Worship Service on Christmas Day (Sunday, December 25).
  • Starting in January 2023! Journey through the Word— You are invited to join us on a year-long journey through the Bible with the Holy Spirit as our guide! The purpose of this class is to introduce the culture and history of the Bible reading, track the location, examine the timeline, and more. The first part of each class will introduce the new readings for the week and then we’ll talk about the exciting things we’ve learned in the past week. We will be reading the Old Testament through to the New Testament in a unique chronological order. Choose your favorite translation or pull up an app and listen to the Bible throughout the week; grab a journal and record your revelations, impressions, etc. All ages are welcome!
