  • This Morning: For the Joy of the Word— 9:00-9:50 a.m. in the Youth Room in RiverLife’s back building. For the Joy of the Word is a fun year-long journey through the Bible with Holy Spirit as our guide. We look at the references to Jesus, the hand of the Father, and the work of the Holy Spirit in each book. On Sunday mornings we introduce the new readings for the week (examining culture, history, location, historical timeline, etc.) and discuss the exciting things we’ve learned during the past week. We are reading the Old Testament alongside the New Testament, with Psalms and Proverbs. Anyone is welcome! You can also join our Facebook group discussion.   • This Afternoon: Rio de Vida (Hispanic Ministry) Fellowship Meal— After the morning worship service, Rio de Vida will gather in the back building to share a special meal and time of fellowship. Contact Luis & Novah for more information [980-292-1242 / [email protected]].
  • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Prayer Room. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner, that meets on the 1st, 3rd (and sometimes 5th) Tuesdays of the month. We delve deeper into the Sunday messages as well as enjoy fellowship and prayer. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome!   • Tuesday: Tidal Wave (Middle School Youth in Grades 6-8) Christmas Party— Join us from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the church’s back building for our Christmas party and cake decorating competition. For more info, contact Stacy [704-763-5389 / [email protected]].
  • Wednesday: Intercessory Prayer Meeting— This week we will have prayer at 10:00 a.m. at the Bee’s house with lunch following. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: High School Youth Christmas Party— Join us from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Pamela’s house for our Youth Christmas Party! Contact Cory [[email protected]] for details.
  • Wednesday: Journey Tribe (Young Adult Ministry) Christmas Party— Join us for an Ugly Sweater/Mean Santa Christmas Party at the Stein Cabin! Bring a $10 gift. See the Journey Tribe Facebook page for more details or call Jenny [704-807-0906].
  • Friday, December 21 to Tuesday, January 1: Church Office Closed— Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
  • Sunday, December 23: RiverLife’s Christmas Service— Join us at 10:00 a.m. for a special Christmas Service with Communion! Parents, there will be no Children’s Ministry during this service, but the Nursery (newborn to age 3) will be open. We will have a time of fellowship in the foyer after the service with coffee and pastries. It’s going to be WONDER-FULL!
The Father’s Table provides food assistance to families in our fellowship and community. Food and monetary donations are welcome! For monetary donations, use our app or put “Father’s Table” on the memo line of your gift.

  • Sides: pasta sides, rice-a-roni, hamburger helper, etc.
  • Bags of rice, pinto beans & black beans
