Please join us for our annual Christmas service this morning. Enjoy a special time of worship and Communion, and have your picture taken in our family photo booth.

  • Please note: there will be no nursery or children’s church.
  •  NO SERVICE on Sunday, December 24.
  • We’ll see you back at church on Sunday, December 31.
  • This Morning: Morning Worship Service— Join us in person in our Sanctuary or virtually (on our RiverLife Media YouTube Channel or our RiverLife Media Facebook page) for our Christmas worship service starting at 10:00 AM. Becky Wicker will share.
  • This Evening: Rio De Vida Christmas Celebration & Dinner— All Latino and Spanish-speaking RiverLife attendees are invited to a Christmas Celebration and Dinner from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the church back building. For more information, contact Ericka [[email protected]].
  • Esta Noche: Rio De Vida Navidad Celebración y Cena— Todos los Latinos y de habla Hispana que asisten a RiverLife están invitados a una Navidad celebración y cena de 4:00 PM a 7:00 PM en el edificio trasero de la iglesia. Para más información, contactate con Ericka [[email protected]].
  • Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 PM at Brian and Jo’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time of fellowship and waffles, worship, and Bible study. We wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead. So, if you love waffles and want to build community with other young adults and pursue God alongside fellow believers, come check out our group!   • Monday: Who God Is & Who We Are in Him (Mooresville)— Merry Christmas! No meeting this week. We’ll see you in January.
  • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon in the Sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships, and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! For more information, please get in touch with Rhonda [704-528-8000 / [email protected]].
  • Tuesday: Finding Treasure in the Word (Troutman)— You are invited to join us at the Greatheads’ house from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM for finger foods and our adult Bible Study. Psalm 119:162 says, “I will rejoice at Your Word as one who finds great treasure.” So, bring your Bible as we go on an exciting treasure hunt together! Tony and Cindy Baker are leading the Bible Study. No childcare is available. For more information, call Tony [704-779-8548], Cindy [828-999-2115], Tom [704-706-7378], or Debbie [704-706-7379].
  • Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship, followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests and Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: Journey through the Living Word— 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Sanctuary. You are invited to join us on a journey through the Bible with the Holy Spirit as our guide! We are halfway through the Bible, and you can still join in. The reading schedule is located on the white desk in the foyer.   • Wednesday: Tidal Wave (Middle School Youth in Grades 6-8)— Merry Christmas, Middle Schoolers! There’s no youth group this week. See you again next year!

  • Thursday: Más que Vencedores (Spanish-speaking)— No meeting this week. See you in January!
  • Thursday – Tuesday, January 2: Church Office Closed— The church office will be closed for Christmas & New Year’s break. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
The Father’s Table provides food assistance to families in our fellowship and community. Food and monetary donations are welcome! For monetary donations, please use our website or app or put “Father’s Table” on the memo line of your gift.   • Breakfast: Eggs, Cereal, Pancake Mix, Canned & Powdered Milk
  • Lunch: Ramen Noodles (All Flavors), Canned Tuna, Canned or Dried Pinto Beans
  • Dinner: White Rice, Spaghetti Sauce, Canned Tomatoes, Hams for Christmas
  • Extras: Bags of Flour, Bags of Sugar, Mayonnaise

  • 2023 Contribution Statements— Tax season is approaching! Now is the time to make your final contributions and make sure your information with RiverLife is up-to-date and accurate.
    • ONLINE & DIGITAL GIVING – The last day to give is Wednesday, December 27.
    • CASH & CHECK GIVING – The last day to give is Sunday, December 31.

    • Donations for RiverLife Wilmington: If you would like to sow into the launch of our RiverLife Wilmington church plant, cash or checks (made out to RiverLife and clearly labeled RL Wilmington) can be placed in the offering plate or dropped in the offering box in the church foyer.   • Friday, January 5: Draw Near Worship & Encounter Night— 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the Sanctuary. You are invited to a night of worship dedicated to the Lord and His presence! Come. Rest in Him; praise Him; open your heart to Him, and pursue His heart. Childcare is available for children ages 2 -5 years old.
