• This Afternoon: Walking In Freedom with the Holy Spirit— 12:30-1:30 p.m. in RiverLife’s back building. You are invited to join us for a recovery program for food addiction. We will have a teaching each week and a time of sharing. It will be based on the word of God and Bibles are encouraged. If you are interested in attending, please contact Dale Smith [704-206-9673].
• This Afternoon: Tidal Wave (Middle School Youth in Grades 6-8) Event— You are invited to join us from 3:00-7:00 p.m. in the church’s back building for our Cooking Competition! Contact Stacy [704-763-5389 / [email protected]] for more information. (Tidal Wave will not meet this Wednesday.)
• Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 p.m. at Brian and Jo’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while also remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time for fellowship and waffles starting at 6:30 p.m. We then transition around 7:00 p.m. to a time of worship followed by a Bible study. We then like to wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead of us. If you love waffles and are looking to build community with other young adults and pursue God alongside fellow believers, come check our group out! • Monday: Who God Is & Who We Are in Him (Mooresville)— Join us from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Sharon’s house. Discovering the true nature of God and who we are in Him is the focus of our group. • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! • Tuesday: Finding Treasure in the Word (Troutman)— You are invited to join us at the Greathead’s house from 7:00-9:00 p.m. for finger foods and our adult Bible Study. Psalm 119:162 says, “I will rejoice at Your Word as one who finds great treasure.” Bring your Bible as we go on an exciting treasure hunt together! Tony and Cindy Baker are leading the Bible Study. • Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests as well as Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
• Wednesday: Journey through the Living Word— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. You are invited to join us on a year-long journey through the Bible with the Holy Spirit as our guide! The purpose of this class is to introduce the culture and history of the Bible reading, track the location, examine the timeline, and more. The first part of each class will introduce the new readings for the week and then we’ll talk about the exciting things we’ve learned in the past week. We will be reading the Old Testament through to the New Testament in a unique chronological order. Choose your favorite translation or pull up an app and listen to the Bible throughout the week; grab a journal and record your revelations, impressions, etc. All ages welcome! • Wednesday: High School Youth— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church’s back building. Students in grades 9-12 are invited to join us! Email Cory [[email protected]] for details.
• Thursday: Men of Fire (Men’s Fellowship)— 7:00 p.m. in the church’s back building. We focus on the Scriptures, prayer and building up one another. We meet to support all the men in our fellowship as well as the fellowship as a whole. Gathering in a small group helps us to develop closer relationships and encourages us to stand together in our walk with Jesus. Contact Tommy McCraw [[email protected]] for more information.
• Friday: Navigating Life (Salisbury)— 6:00 p.m. at the Gheen’s house on the 4th Friday of each month. We enjoy snacks, fellowship, prayer and encouragement in God’s Word. All are welcome! Contact Linda [704-637-7888 / [email protected]] for directions or more information.

• Saturday: Prayer Ministry Team Fellowship Meal— 5:00-6:30 p.m. in the back building multipurpose room. Current Prayer Ministry Team members as well as anyone interested in serving on the Prayer Ministry Team are invited to join us for dinner along with information, appreciation and impartation. Being a Biblical citizen requires having KNOWLEDGE of the culture so we can represent the Lord well and be an effective catalyst for restoring Biblical values in our neighborhood, state, and nation. Knowledge is power.

Beginning Tuesday, January 24^th the NC Faith and Freedom Coalition will launch an 8-week training course on the US Constitution and Biblical Citizenship. This course is designed to educate and activate meaningful conversation to combat the ideologies of Cultural Marxism, Critical Race Theory, and the 1619 Project which are prevalent in our schools, universities, and culture.

These online classes are FREE. Anyone is welcome to attend, but you must register at ncfaithandfreedom.com/events. This is a great investment for making a difference in a practical way.
