This Morning:For the Joy of the Word— 9:00-9:50 a.m. in the Youth Room in RiverLife’s back building. For the Joy of the Word is a fun year-long journey through the Bible with Holy Spirit as our guide. We look at the references to Jesus, the hand of the Father, and the work of the Holy Spirit in each book. On Sunday mornings we introduce the new readings for the week (examining culture, history, location, historical timeline, etc.) and discuss the exciting things we’ve learned during the past week. Monday: Knowing His Heart (Mooresville)— 7:00 p.m. at the Croley’s house. This life group, led by Jim Hill, gathers on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month. We focus on learning the ways of God—from Scripture and personal testimonies—to equip us in hearing and walking with God in the times we now live. Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Prayer Room. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner, that meets on the 1st, 3rd (and sometimes 5th) Tuesdays of the month. This month, we are studying the book of Ephesians. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! Friday: Seeking His Presence (Mount Ulla)— 6:00 p.m. at the Foldoe’s house. Join us for a covered dish fellowship dinner and time in the Word. We will watch/discuss “The Essential Guide to Healing” DVD series by Randy Clark & Bill Johnson. Come be equipped by this practical, step-by-step guide to pray for the sick and minister God’s healing power in a hurting world. Friday: Rea Home Group (Cornelius)— 7:00 p.m. at the Koshy’s house. “Rea” is the Hebrew name for neighbor, friend, companion or fellow. As Romans 12:4-8 clearly states, we are all members of one body with different callings and gifts. We hope—as we worship, form trusts and continue to define our identities in this relaxed, intimate environment—you will be encouraged and strengthened individually, so corporately we can accomplish great things. Saturday: Valentine’s Date Night Babysitting Service— As a fundraiser for Camp Morley, the Youth will be providing a babysitting service at RiverLife this Saturday, February 10 from 6:00-9:30 p.m. Cost is by donation with a suggested minimum of $15 for one child or $10/each for multiple children.
