Our Morning Worship Service is cancelled today due to inclement weather.
Please check with your life group and/or ministry leaders about any changes to or cancellations of this week’s scheduled meetings and events.
  • Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 p.m. at Brian and Austin’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while also remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time for fellowship and waffles starting at 6:30 p.m. We then transition around 7:00 p.m. to a time of worship followed by a Bible study. We then like to wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead of us. If you love waffles and are looking to build community with other young adults and pursue God alongside fellow believers, come check our group out! Contact Brian Stepanek [704-618-3792] for more details.
  • Monday: Who God Is & Who We Are in Him (Mooresville)— Join us from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Sharon’s house. Discovering the true nature of God and who we are in Him is the focus of our group. No childcare is available. Adults (men and women) of all ages are welcome! Group Leaders are Sharon Mast and Brian & Anita Kurn. For more information, contact Sharon [503-577-4632].

  • Wednesday: Engaging the Times with David Benham—6:30-9:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. In the midst of today’s world crisis one of the most serious questions a follower of Christ asks is, “How do I engage?” It is both challenging to understand how America got to this point, as well as know how to respond. Engaging the Times is fortunate to host David Benham who will address these issues and answer this question. David is known as a bold advocate for truth and a strong leader of faith in action who brings understanding and directives from a Biblical view. He is a former professional baseball player, best-selling author, speaker, and nationally acclaimed entrepreneur. David and his twin, Jason, are strong pro-life and pro-family advocates. This is a great opportunity to invite your church and community leaders, friends and family. There will be worship and prayer for our nation. An offering will be taken for the evening. The event will also be LIVE streamed on the RiverLife Media YouTube Channel and on the RiverLife Media Facebook page. Contact Stuart and Sandra Gittleman [413-244-6653 / [email protected]] for more information.
  • Thursday: Más que Vencedores (Spanish-Speaking Life Link)— Join us at 6:45 p.m. at Carmen & Rufino’s house in Statesville! We gather on the third Thursdays of the month for Bible study and a time of prayer. Contact Fabiola [704-883-8490] for more information.
  • Thursday: Practical Christianity (Mooresville)— 7:00 p.m. at the Croley’s house. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for directions or more information.
  • Thursday: Healing Rooms— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church’s main building. Everyone is welcome! Feel free to invite your family and friends to drop by to receive prayer for physical healing on the 3rd Thursday of each month. “By His wounds, we are healed!” Isaiah 53:5. Questions? Email us at: [email protected].
  • Saturday: Men’s Prayer Group— 7:00 a.m. in the Prayer Room. This prayer time has been a free-flowing mixture of worship, testimony and prayer. We seek the Lord’s heart and pray accordingly! Please text Jeff Miller [704-775-6652] on Friday for our Saturday meeting details.
  • Sunday School Teachers Needed— For various reasons (health, family, etc.), we have lost several teachers for our program on Sunday mornings. We currently need 1 more teacher for our Pre-K Class (ages 4-5) and 1 more teacher for our 6–8 year-old class. We have a rotating schedule so there is flexibility in how often you would teach. Everything that you will need (lesson plans, supplies, etc.) will be provided. Please prayerfully consider helping! If you are interested, please email [email protected] or speak to Joe & Kim directly.
