  • Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 PM at Brian and Jo’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time of fellowship and waffles, worship, and Bible study. We wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead. So, if you love waffles and want to build community with other young adults and pursue God alongside fellow believers, come check out our group!   • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon in the Sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays.   • Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship, followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests and Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: Tidal Wave (Middle School Youth in Grades 6-8)— 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the church’s back building. We desire to create an environment for middle schoolers to grow in their relationship with the Lord, knowledge and love of the Word, spiritual gifts, and worship. We also believe that social interaction is essential for a group of this age and have plenty of opportunities for activities and fun.   • Wednesday: High School Youth— 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the church’s back building. Students in grades 9-12 are invited to join us! Email Cory [[email protected]] for details.
  • Thursday: Men of Fire (Men’s Fellowship)— 7:00 PM in the church’s back building. We focus on the Scriptures, prayer, and building one another up. We meet to support all the men in our fellowship and the church at large. Gathering in a small group helps us to develop closer relationships and encourages us to stand together in our walk with Jesus. Contact Tommy McCraw [[email protected]] for more information.
  • Friday: Navigating Life— 7:00 PM at the Gheen home in Salisbury. We snack and enjoy fellowship and prayer as we dig into God’s Word and how it applies to our lives today. All are welcome! Contact Linda [704-637-7888 / [email protected]] for directions or more information.
  • Friday: Esther Intercessory Group (Women’s Prayer)— 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the church’s back building. Women of all ages are invited to join us on the last Friday of each month as we intercede for our families, our nation, the Church in America and overseas, and the lost. Our purpose is to create an opportunity for us to experience God’s Presence, come together to change the atmosphere around us, build family, and allow God to manifest in a mighty way through us as we cry out to Him! Sojourn is where we set aside our busy schedules to worship, build relationships, pray, fellowship, edify, and encourage, reinforcing our faith and identity.   • Friday, February 2: Draw Near Worship & Encounter Night— 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the Sanctuary. You are invited to a night of worship dedicated to the Lord and His presence! Come. Rest in Him; praise Him; open your heart to Him, and pursue His heart. Childcare is available for children ages 2 -5 years old.
  • Saturday, February 10: Prophetic Bootcamp with Jamie & Jenn Forte Whether you are new to the prophetic or are prophetically fluent, we invite you to grow in your prophetic anointing during our second Prophetic Bootcamp. Bring a bagged lunch and a drink. The cost is $15 and includes materials.
