  • This Afternoon: Post-Service Prophetic Ministry— Do you need to hear from the Lord? Receive a word of encouragement, exhortation, or comfort from our Prophetic Teams in the Sanctuary after service.
  • Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 PM at Brian and Jo’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time of fellowship and waffles, worship, and Bible study. We wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead. So, if you love waffles and want to build community with other young adults and pursue God alongside fellow believers, come check out our group!   • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon in the Sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships, and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! For more information, please get in touch with Rhonda [704-528-8000 / [email protected]].
  • Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship, followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests and Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: Youth Group Nerf Wars— All middle and high school youth are invited to join us in the sanctuary from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM as we kick off the semester with an all-out Nerf War! We will have some Nerf guns here, but if you want to bring your own, feel free. All Nerf guns must fire standard Nerf bullets, and you don’t need to bring any ammunition; we will provide all of that.   • Thursday: Men of Fire (Men’s Fellowship)— 7:00 PM in the church’s back building. We focus on the Scriptures, prayer, and building one another up. We meet to support all the men in our fellowship and the church at large. Gathering in a small group helps us to develop closer relationships and encourages us to stand together in our walk with Jesus. Contact Tommy McCraw [[email protected]] for more information.
  • Friday: Seeking His Presence (Mount Ulla)— 6:00 PM at the Foldoes’ house. We seek to grow in the knowledge of God (intimacy) in addition to becoming equipped practically for life and ministry. Our meetings begin with a covered-dish potluck meal, where we have a relaxed time of fellowship and opportunity to get to know one another. The High School Youth Group is reading through the Bible this year and will meet on the second Saturday of each month for Bible studies. It’ll be a time to discuss what we’ve been reading, ask questions, and grow in faith together. Join us as we dig deeper into the Word. Brunch is provided!   • Saturday, January 20: Church Board Game Night— Your move! We will meet in the back building from 6:00 PM until we’re done. We’ll have plenty of board games, but feel free to bring your own.
