• Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 p.m. at Brian and Austin’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while also remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time for fellowship and waffles starting at 6:30 p.m. We then transition around 7:00 p.m. to a time of worship followed by a Bible study. We then like to wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead of us. If you love waffles and are looking to build community with other young adults and pursue God alongside fellow believers, come check our group out! Contact Brian Stepanek [704-618-3792] for more details.

  • Sunday School Teachers Needed— For various reasons (health, family, etc.), we have lost several teachers for our program on Sunday mornings. We currently need 1 more teacher for our Pre-K Class (ages 4-5) and 1 more teacher for our 6–8 year-old class. We have a rotating schedule so there is flexibility in how often you would teach. Everything that you will need (lesson plans, supplies, etc.) will be provided. Please prayerfully consider helping! If you are interested, please email [email protected] or speak to Joe & Kim directly.

  • Wednesday, January 19: Engaging the Times with David Benham—6:30-9:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. In the midst of today’s world crisis one of the most serious questions a follower of Christ asks is, “How do I engage?” It is both challenging to understand how America got to this point, as well as know how to respond. Engaging the Times is fortunate to host David Benham who will address these issues and answer this question. David is known as a bold advocate for truth and a strong leader of faith in action who brings understanding and directives from a Biblical view. He is a former professional baseball player, best-selling author, speaker, and nationally acclaimed entrepreneur. David and his twin, Jason, are strong pro-life and pro-family advocates. This is a great opportunity to invite your church and community leaders, friends and family. There will be worship and prayer for our nation. An offering will be taken for the evening. The event will also be LIVE streamed on the RiverLife Media YouTube Channel and on the RiverLife Media Facebook page. Contact Stuart and Sandra Gittleman [413-244-6653 / [email protected]] for more information.
