  • This Morning: Morning Worship Service— Join us in person in our Sanctuary or virtually (on our RiverLife Media YouTube Channel or our RiverLife Media Facebook page) for our morning worship service starting at 10:00 AM. Pastor Marlin Mogusu will share.
  • This Morning: High School Youth Sunday School Class (Grades 9-12)— The high school youth Sunday school class meets on Sunday mornings from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon in the youth room in RiverLife’s back building. Come and join us! Reach out to Cory [[email protected]] for more information.
  • Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 PM at Brian and Jo’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time of fellowship and waffles starting at 6:30 PM. Then, around 7:00 PM, we transition to a time of worship followed by a Bible study. Finally, we like to wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead.   • Monday: Who God Is & Who We Are in Him (Mooresville)—Join us from 7:00–9:00 PM at Sharon’s house. Discovering the true nature of God and who we are in Him is the focus of our group. No childcare is available. Adults (men and women) of all ages are welcome! Group Leaders are Sharon Mast and Brian & Anita Kurn. For more information, contact Sharon [503-577-4632].
  • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon in the Sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships, and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! For more information, please get in touch with Rhonda [704-528-8000 / [email protected]].
  • Tuesday: Finding Treasure in the Word (Troutman)— You are invited to join us at the Greatheads’ house from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM for finger foods and our adult Bible Study. Psalm 119:162 says, “I will rejoice at Your Word as one who finds great treasure.” So bring your Bible as we go on an exciting treasure hunt together!   • Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship, followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests and Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: Journey through the Living Word— 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the Sanctuary. You are invited to join us on a year-long journey through the Bible with the Holy Spirit as our guide! This class aims to introduce the culture and history of the weekly Bible scripture passage, track the location, examine the timeline, and more. Together, we will read the Old Testament through to the New Testament in a unique chronological order. The first part of each class will present the new passages for the week, and then we’ll talk about the exciting things we’ve learned in the past week. Choose your favorite translation or download an app and listen to the Bible; grab a journal and record your revelations and impressions. All ages are welcome!   • Thursday: Healing Rooms— 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the church’s main building. Everyone is welcome! Feel free to invite your family and friends to drop by to receive prayer for physical healing on the 3rd Thursday of each month. “By His wounds, we are healed!” Isaiah 53:5. Questions? The Father’s Table provides food assistance to families in our fellowship and community. Food and monetary donations are welcome!   • Sunday, July 23: VBS Set Up— All hands on deck! Vacation Bible School starts on Monday, July 24, and we need your help getting the church ready. Stick around after service and lend a hand in setting up the stage and other areas.   • Monday, July 24 – Friday, July 28: Stellar Vacation Bible School— This year’s theme is Stellar! Launch kids on a cosmic quest where they’ll have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world. Stellar rockets kids on an out-of-this-world adventure that’s light years of faith-building fun.   • Sunday, July 30: RiverLife Wilmington Church Service— 2:30 PM in Wilmington. Email Ryan and Mary [[email protected]] to get on the official mailing list, or follow RLW on Instagram [@riverlifewilmington] for updates and meeting locations.
  • Donations for RiverLife Wilmington: If you would like to sow into the launch of our RiverLife Wilmington church plant, cash or checks (made out to RiverLife and clearly labeled RLF Wilmington) can be placed in the offering plate or dropped in the offering box in the church foyer. If giving digitally, please choose RLF Wilmington from the drop-down Fund Menu.
  • Friday, August 4: Draw Near Worship & Encounter Night— 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the Sanctuary. You are invited to a night of worship dedicated to the Lord and His presence! Come. Rest in Him; praise Him; open your heart to Him, and pursue His heart. Childcare is available for children ages 2 -5 years old. 
  • Saturday, August 5: RESCHEDULED David Rummage Memorial Roping Event— 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Gather together at Jeff Hammond’s Arena (470 Phifer Rd., Cleveland, NC) in memoriam to David Rummage. The team roping event starts at 10:00 AM, with a memorial to follow at approximately noon. Admission is free, and you are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. There will be multiple food trucks to choose from. A limited number of David Rummage Memorial Roping logo t-shirts, koozies, and hats will also be available. If you plan to participate, RSVP so organizers can ensure a sufficient number of steers are on hand.   • Wednesday, September 27 – Sunday, October 8: Feast of Tabernacles Israel Trip— Join Jerry & Judy Ball and Breaker of Dawn Ministries International as they travel to Israel to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles for the 26th year. Enjoy nine days of exploring biblical sites, powerful prayer and worship, and fellowship with Christians from around the world.
