  • This Morning: For the Joy of the Word— 9:00-9:50 a.m. in the Youth Room in RiverLife’s back building. For the Joy of the Word is a fun year-long journey through the Bible with Holy Spirit as our guide. We look at the references to Jesus, the hand of the Father, and the work of the Holy Spirit in each book. On Sunday mornings we introduce the new readings for the week (examining culture, history, location, historical timeline, etc.) and discuss the exciting things we’ve learned during the past week. We are reading the Old Testament alongside the New Testament, with Psalms and Proverbs. Anyone is welcome! You can also join our Facebook group discussion.   • This Afternoon: Journey Tribe (Young Adult Ministry)—Join us from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at George Pappa’s Victory Lanes in Mooresville for Bowling and fellowship. See the Journey Tribe Facebook page for details or call Jenny [704-807-0906].
  • Wednesday: Intercessory Prayer Meeting— 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Prayer Room. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Thursday: Men of Fire (Men’s Fellowship)— 7:00 p.m. in the church’s back building. Contact Tommy McCraw [[email protected]] for more information.
  • Friday: Rio de Vida (Hispanic Ministry) Bible Study— 7:00 p.m. at Carmen’s house in Statesville. We are gathering monthly for Bible study and a time of fellowship. We are currently studying The Purpose Driven Life. Contact Luis & Novah for more information [980-292-1242 / [email protected]].
  • Saturday: Revelation Wellness Bold in the Soul Freedom Party— 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in RiverLife’s back building. Men and women, ages 14 and up, of all shapes and sizes and all fitness levels are invited! We’ll start off with a video study, snacks, and discussion about original design/identity and body image—replacing lies with truth. Then, we’ll respond to the Lord with movement and rest. The workout will be super fun and for all levels. If this sparks something in you but sounds intimidating, I encourage you to get comfortable being uncomfortable—growth doesn’t happen in our comfort zones! Plus, this is a safe place! Come as you are; be known and loved by God. Come ready and willing for the Holy Spirit to move and speak to your heart! Come expecting freedom! Bring a journal and an exercise mat.   • Sunday, July 29: Church Baptism— 2:00 p.m. at the Croley’s house. After the morning worship service (here at the church building), we will gather for an afternoon of fellowship and fun on the lake! Bring lunch for your family, your swimgear and your lawn chair. We will have lifeguards on duty to watch over those who wish to swim. Please contact Mya [[email protected] / 704-664-3540] if you would like to be water baptized.  PLEASE NOTE: Lunch and Fellowship will take place directly after the service, but the Baptism will begin at 2:00 p.m.
