Stellar Vacation Bible School starts tomorrow! Your kiddos will have a blast on this cosmic quest to shine Jesus’ light into the world!
  • This Morning: Morning Worship Service— Join us in person in our Sanctuary or virtually (on our RiverLife Media YouTube Channel or our RiverLife Media Facebook page) for our morning worship service starting at 10:00 AM. Andy Squyres will share.
  • This Morning: High School Youth Sunday School Class (Grades 9-12)— The high school youth Sunday school class meets on Sunday mornings from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon in the youth room in RiverLife’s back building. Come and join us! Reach out to Cory [[email protected]] for more information.
  • This afternoon: VBS Set Up — All hands on deck! Vacation Bible School starts tomorrow, and we need your help getting the church ready. Stick around after service today and lend a hand in setting up the stage and other areas.   • Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 PM at Brian and Jo’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time of fellowship and waffles starting at 6:30 PM. Then, around 7:00 PM, we transition to a time of worship followed by a Bible study. Finally, we like to wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead.   • Monday, July 24 – Friday, July 28: Stellar Vacation Bible School— 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM nightly. This year’s theme is Stellar! Launch kids ages 4 – 11 on a cosmic quest where they’ll have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world. Stellar rockets kids on an out-of-this-world adventure that’s light years of faith-building fun.   • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon in the Sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships, and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! For more information, please get in touch with Rhonda [704-528-8000 / [email protected]].
  • Tuesday: Finding Treasure in the Word (Troutman)— You are invited to join us at the Greatheads’ house from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM for finger foods and our adult Bible Study. Psalm 119:162 says, “I will rejoice at Your Word as one who finds great treasure.” So bring your Bible as we go on an exciting treasure hunt together!   • Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship, followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests and Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: Journey through the Living Word—  CANCELLED. There will be no meeting this week due to VBS.
  • Thursday: Navigating Life— 7:00 PM at the Gheen home in Salisbury. We enjoy fellowship, prayer, and digging into God’s Word and how it applies to our life in Jesus today. All are welcome! Contact Linda [704-637-7888 / [email protected]] for directions or more information.
The Father’s Table provides food assistance to families in our fellowship and community. Food and monetary donations are welcome!   • Monday, July 31: Deadline to Register for the Feast of Tabernacles Israel Trip— Join Jerry & Judy Ball and Breaker of Dawn Ministries International as they travel to Israel from Wednesday, September 27 – Sunday, October 8, to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles for the 26th year. Enjoy nine days of exploring biblical sites, powerful prayer and worship, and fellowship with Christians from around the world. Visit the Garden Tomb, be baptized in the Jordan River, and float on the Dead Sea as Israel enters its 75th year as a nation.   • Friday, August 4: Draw Near Worship & Encounter Night— 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the Sanctuary. You are invited to a night of worship dedicated to the Lord and His presence! Come. Rest in Him; praise Him; open your heart to Him, and pursue His heart. Childcare is available for children ages 2 -5 years old. 
  • Saturday, August 5: RESCHEDULED David Rummage Memorial Roping Event— 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Gather together at Jeff Hammond’s Arena (470 Phifer Rd., Cleveland, NC) in memoriam to David Rummage. The team roping event starts at 10:00 AM, with a memorial to follow at approximately noon. Admission is free, and you are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. There will be multiple food trucks to choose from. A limited number of David Rummage Memorial Roping logo t-shirts, koozies, and hats will also be available. If you plan to participate, RSVP so organizers can ensure a sufficient number of steers are on hand.
