  • This Morning: Morning Worship Service— Join us in person in our Sanctuary or virtually (on our RiverLife Media YouTube Channel or our RiverLife Media Facebook page) for our morning worship service starting at 10:00 AM. Pastor Byron will share.
  • This Afternoon: RiverLife Wilmington— 2:30 PM at Hampton Inn Medical Park (2320 S 17th St.) in Wilmington. Email Ryan and Mary [[email protected]] to get on the official mailing list, or follow RLW on Instagram [@riverlifewilmington] for updates and future meeting locations.
  • Monday: Deadline to Register for the Feast of Tabernacles Israel Trip— See below (under “Calendar of Upcoming Events”) for more information.
  • Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 PM at Brian and Jo’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time of fellowship and waffles starting at 6:30 PM. Then, around 7:00 PM, we transition to a time of worship followed by a Bible study. Finally, we like to wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead. So if you love waffles and want to build community with other young adults and pursue God alongside fellow believers, come check out our group! Contact Brian Stepanek [704-618-3792] for more details.
  • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon in the Sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships, and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! For more information, please get in touch with Rhonda [704-528-8000 / [email protected]].
  • Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship, followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests and Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: Journey through the Living Word—  CANCELLED. We’ll see you next week.
  • Wednesday: Volley for Service (H.S. Youth Bible Study)— 7:00 PM. Join us at RiverLife every Wednesday in July for a High School Youth Bible Study about living in the Kingdom of God! The first 45 minutes of the study will be a pickup volleyball game, but if you don’t prefer to play, that’s totally ok! We’re happy to have you join us as a spectator, or you can arrive at 7:45 for our Bible Study in the back building. Contact Oliver [[email protected] ] for more information.
  • Friday: Draw Near Worship & Encounter Night— 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the Sanctuary. You are invited to a night of worship dedicated to the Lord and His presence! Come. Rest in Him; praise Him; open your heart to Him, and pursue His heart. Childcare is available for children ages 2 -5 years old. 
  • Saturday: Thy Kingdom Come (Prayer Meeting)— 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM in the church’s back building. God wants to pour Himself out over RiverLife! He wants to bring His people into deeper realms of His Presence; He wants to tabernacle among us. These Saturday morning meetings are a time for us to seek after the Holy Spirit in unity and respond to the tugging on the hearts of our congregation. Any adult (men & women) who desires to know the Holy Spirit deeper, to see Him move, and to draw closer to Him is welcome. No childcare is available.   • Saturday: David Rummage Memorial Roping Event— 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Gather together at Jeff Hammond’s Arena (470 Phifer Rd., Cleveland, NC) in memoriam to David Rummage. The team roping event starts at 10:00 AM, with a memorial to follow at approximately noon. Admission is free, and you are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. There will be multiple food trucks to choose from. A limited number of David Rummage Memorial Roping logo t-shirts, koozies, and hats will also be available. If you plan to participate, RSVP so organizers can ensure a sufficient number of steers are on hand. The Father’s Table provides food assistance to families in our fellowship and community. Food and monetary donations are welcome! For monetary donations, please use our website or app, or put “Father’s Table” on the memo line of your gift.   • Sunday, August 6: Prophetic Teams Interest Meeting— If you attended RiverLife’s recent Prophetic Bootcamp and are interested in serving on a prophetic team here at church, please stick around after service on Sunday, August 6, for a brief informational meeting.   • Saturday, August 19th: Church Board Game Night— Game nights are back! We will be meeting in the back building from 6:00 PM until we’re done. We’ll have plenty of board games to play, but feel free to bring your own. Please bring a snack to share. This is an event geared toward adults. No childcare is available.
