This Week @ RiverLife — June 25, 2023

• This Morning: Sunday Morning Worship Service— Join us in person in our sanctuary or virtually (on our RiverLife Media YouTube Channel or our RiverLife Media Facebook page) for our morning worship service starting at 10:00 AM. Byron Wicker will share.
• This Afternoon: RiverLife Wilmington— 2:30 PM in Wilmington. Email Ryan and Mary [[email protected]] to get on the official mailing list, or follow RLW on Instagram [@riverlifewilmington] for updates and meeting locations.
• Today: Lost & Found— Last call! There are lots of lovely items just waiting to be returned to their rightful home, including a bag full of lost Camp Morley items. Please look through the box (end of the hall where the Nursery & Toddler rooms are) and collect what’s yours. Any remaining items will be donated this week.
• Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 PM at Brian and Jo’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time of fellowship and waffles starting at 6:30 PM. Then, around 7:00 PM, we transition to a time of worship followed by a Bible study. Finally, we like to wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead. • Monday: Crowns of Glory (Ages 55+)— This month, the Crowns of Glory Life Group will travel to Rock Hill for a picnic and visit with Guy & Pat. Plan to carpool! If you’d like to come, contact Pam for details and to RSVP  [704-301-4890 / [email protected]].
• Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon in the Sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships, and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! For more information, please contact Rhonda [704-528-8000 / [email protected]].

• Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM. in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship, followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests and Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
• Wednesday: Journey through the Living Word— Our meeting is canceled this week. See you next Wednesday!
• Wednesday: Youth Worship Night— 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Sanctuary. All students, from rising 7th graders through graduated high school seniors, are invited to join together for a time of worship. Doors open at 6:45 PM. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, contact Oliver Meade [[email protected]].
• Friday: Deadline to Register for Prophetic Bootcamp— Our Prophetic Bootcamp is just a couple of weeks away. You won’t want to miss this event. See below for details and register today!

• Friday, July 7: Draw Near Worship & Encounter Night— 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the Sanctuary. You are invited to a night of worship dedicated to the Lord and His presence! Come rest in Him, praise Him, open your heart to Him, and pursue His heart. Childcare is available for children ages 2 -5 years old.

• Saturday, July 8: VBS Work Day— 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM in the church’s back building. This is our last VBS work day! Vacation Bible School work days allow us to prepare decorations and materials needed for VBS. We need your help! Examples of tasks include painting, cutting, gluing, assembling craft items, and cleaning and organizing storage areas. No special skills are required. Volunteers can come for a few hours or stay all day. We appreciate any amount of help! Can’t make it but still want to help? We have take-home projects too! • Saturday, July 15: Prophetic Bootcamp with Jenn Forte—  Whether you are new to the prophetic or are prophetically fluent, we invite you to take this training to continue growing in your prophetic anointing. • Monday, July 24 – Friday, July 28: Stellar Vacation Bible School— This year’s theme is Stellar! Launch kids on a cosmic quest where they’ll have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world. Stellar rockets kids on an out-of-this-world adventure that’s light years of faith-building fun.
