• Today: Last Day to Register for the Women’s Retreat (Nov. 10-12)— Held at the Bonclarken Conference Center in beautiful western NC, the retreat is wonderful place for the women of RLF to connect. This year, we are excited to have very own Becky Wicker, Sarah Bollinger & Rhonda Bumgarner sharing and we also will have a prophetic team from Catch the Fire Raleigh available for personal prophetic ministry. • This Afternoon: Lunch with Crowns of Glory (Ages 50+)— The Crowns of Glory Life Group will gather for lunch after today’s service at the Jolly’s house. • This Afternoon: Rio de Vida (Hispanic Ministry)— We gather Sundays at 1:00 p.m. in the church’s back building for a time of worship, fellowship and a message in Spanish. • This Evening: Discipleship Class— 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the main building. You are invited to our introductory, 4-session, discipleship class that will focus on learning how to follow Jesus. Contact John Croley for more information or to sign-up [[email protected] / 704-664-3540].
• Monday: Knowing His Heart (Mooresville)— 7:00 p.m. at the Croley’s house. This life group, led by Jim Hill, gathers on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month. We focus on learning the ways of God—from Scripture and personal testimonies—to equip us in hearing and walking with God in the times we now live. • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Prayer Room. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner, that meets on the 1st, 3rd (and sometimes 5th) Tuesdays of the month. We are currently studying the book of Colossians. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! • Wednesday: October Day of Prayer & Fasting— We invite you to join us today as we intercede.

In many ways, the political climate is adversely affecting the church instead of the church being salt and light for the political realm, along with social media, and main stream news.

But God asks us to begin with ourselves and His household, the church. So, we have to clean up the pointing of the finger, speaking accusation, etc. within the church and toward the other realms of influence (See Isaiah 58).

There is a spirit of division, strife, and corruptible speech at work. Pray against it and pray for the spirit of love, power, and a sound mind.

• Sunday, October 22 and November 5 & 12: Discipleship Class— Sunday nights from 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the main building. • Monday, October 23: Sojourn Women’s Ministry— Plan to join us at 7:00 p.m. in RiverLife’s main building sanctuary for our October meeting.
• Sunday, October 29: RiverLife’s Epic Fall Festival—Plan to join us at 4:00 p.m. at Breezy Meadows Farm for our Fall Festival or you may have to walk the plank! We’ll have live Bluegrass music, Wicker BBQ and a number of fun Fall activities to enjoy! Each family should bring 2 HOMEMADE sides (such as macaroni & cheese, potato salad, pasta salad, baked beans, chili, slaw, casseroles, tossed salads, fruit, etc.) and singles should bring a dessert and drink. This event would not be possible without a team of amazing people! We need help with set-up, clean-up, serving food, and the activities.
