  • This Morning: High School Youth Sunday School Class (Grades 9-12)— The high school youth Sunday school class will continue to meet on Sunday mornings from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the youth room in RiverLife’s back building.   • Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 p.m. at Brian and Jo’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while also remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time for fellowship and waffles starting at 6:30 p.m. We then transition around 7:00 p.m. to a time of worship followed by a Bible study. We then like to wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead of us. If you love waffles and are looking to build community with other young adults and pursue God alongside fellow believers, come check our group out!   • Monday: Who God Is & Who We Are in Him (Mooresville)— Join us from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Sharon’s house. Discovering the true nature of God and who we are in Him is the focus of our group.   • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays.   • JOIN US! Tuesday: nourish (Young Women’s Bible Study)—7:00-8:30 p.m. in the back building. nourish is a gathering place for young women (age 20-40’s) to connect through fellowship and studying God’s word. Over six weeks (September 6-October 11) we will dive into the study by Havilah Cunningham, “Leap Into Love: Living Present to My Purpose on the Planet.” We will cover topics such as self-abandonment, recovering ourselves, building confidence, and changing culture. This study will uncover the truth that you are an example of His most significant work.   • Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests as well as Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: Tidal Wave (Middle School Youth in Grades 6-8)— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church’s back building. Our desire is to create an environment for middle schoolers to grow in their personal relationship with the Lord, in their knowledge and love of the Word, in their spiritual gifts and in worship. We also believe that social interaction is a key part of a group of this age and have plenty of opportunities for fun and activities.   • Thursday: Practical Christianity (Mooresville)— You are invited to join us at 6:00 p.m. at the Croley’s house for a covered dish dinner! Our gathering includes a Bible study with prayer and discussion about relevant topics that are practical to everyday life. Bring your Bible and come join us!   • Friday: Draw Near Worship & Encounter Night— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. You are invited to a night of worship dedicated to the Lord and His presence! Come rest in Him, praise Him, open your heart to Him as well as pursue His heart. Due to a lack of workers, Childcare is no longer available during Draw Near.
  • Saturday: Men’s Prayer Group— 7:00 a.m. in the Prayer Room. This prayer time has been a free-flowing mixture of worship, testimony and prayer. We seek the Lord’s heart and pray accordingly! Please text Jeff Miller [704-775-6652] on Friday for our Saturday meeting details.
  • Saturday: Tidal Wave (Middle School Youth) & High School Youth Event— 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We are planning a trip to play outdoor Lazer Tag at Kersey Valley.   • Saturday: Love Life Baby Shower— 1:00-3:00 p.m. in RiverLife’s back building. You are invited to join us as we welcome and bless Baby LeMar and his mother! RSVP HERE. Several items of baby furniture are needed and can be gently-used: 1) a Changing Table, 2) a Crib, and 3) a Rocking Chair or Glider.
