• This Afternoon: Lunch with Crowns of Glory (Ages 50+)— The Crowns of Glory Life Group will gather for lunch after today’s service at the Jolly’s house. We invite anyone over 50 to join us for an enjoyable afternoon! Bring a bag lunch; dessert and drinks will be provided. • This Afternoon: Rio de Vida (Hispanic Ministry)— We gather Sundays at 1:00 p.m. in the church’s back building for a time of worship, fellowship and a message in Spanish. • Monday: Knowing His Heart (Mooresville)— 7:00 p.m. at the Croley’s house. This life group, led by Jim Hill, gathers on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month. We focus on learning the ways of God—from Scripture and personal testimonies—to equip us in hearing and walking with God in the times we now live. • Wednesday: September Day of Prayer— Please join us in interceding for: 

1. All the people who have suffered loss in Hurricane Harvey and Irma. That God would quickly restore and rebuild individuals, families, homes, businesses and churches.
2. The Power of the Cross Identity Rally in Mooresville, taking place September 24-28.
3. An end to the political, spiritual, racial and cultural divide and violence in our nation. That the spirit of division’s power would be broken. And that there would be a wave of reconciliation and forgiveness to sweep across our nation.

NOTE: There will be no Wednesday evening service on September 20th.

• Wednesday: Intercessory Prayer Meeting— 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Prayer Room. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
• Wednesday: High School Youth— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church’s back building. Email Cory [[email protected]] for details.
• Thursday: Women in the Word— 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Prayer Room. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner. This Fall we will study the book of Colossians. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! • Friday: Rea Home Group (Cornelius)— 7:00 p.m. at the Koshy’s house. “Rea” is the Hebrew name for neighbor, friend, companion or fellow. As Romans 12:4-8 clearly states, we are all members of one body with different callings and gifts. We hope—as we worship, form trusts and continue to define our identities in this relaxed, intimate environment—you will be encouraged and strengthened individually, so corporately we can accomplish great things. • Sunday, September 24: Bake Sale Fundraiser for Camp Morley— Remember to bring some extra pocket money to church next Sunday so that you can enjoy fresh baked goods before and after the service! Proceeds will support our youth summer camp.
• Monday, October 2: Newcomer’s Gathering— 7:00 p.m. in the church’s main building. Are you new to RiverLife? We want to get to know you! The Newcomer’s Gathering is an occasion for people who are new or relatively new to RiverLife to learn more about the DNA—vision, passion, history—of our fellowship, to get to know the leadership a bit better and to get plugged into the various life groups and ministries of our church. • September 24-28: Power of the Cross Identity Rally— 6:30 p.m. nightly at 769 River Hwy in Mooresville. Our church is participating in the Power of the Cross Identity Rally. This event is designed to share with the community how one’s identity can change through the Power of the Cross. Volunteers are needed for the RLF Church Tent (where you’d chat with people who are looking to get plugged into a local church). RiverLife needs 15 people (3 people each night) to help! If you are interested in volunteering, contact John [704-450-7318 / [email protected]].
