  • This Morning: For the Joy of the Word—9:00-9:50 a.m. in the Youth Room in RiverLife’s back building. For the Joy of the Word is a fun year-long journey through the Bible with Holy Spirit as our guide. We look at the references to Jesus, the hand of the Father, and the work of the Holy Spirit in each book. On Sunday mornings we introduce the new readings for the week (examining culture, history, location, historical timeline, etc.) and discuss the exciting things we’ve learned during the past week. We are reading the Old Testament alongside the New Testament, with Psalms and Proverbs. Anyone is welcome! You can also join our Facebook group discussion.   • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Prayer Room. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner, that meets on the 1st, 3rd (and sometimes 5th) Tuesdays of the month. This Fall we will delve deeper into the Sunday messages as well as enjoy fellowship and prayer. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships and getting into the Word.   • Tuesday: Tidal Wave (Middle School Youth in Grades 6-8)— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church’s back building. For more info, contact Stacy [704-763-5389 / [email protected]].
  • Wednesday: Intercessory Prayer Meeting— 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Prayer Room. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: High School Youth— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church’s back building. Email Cory [[email protected]] for details.
  • Thursday: RiverLife Men’s Ministry— Join us at 7:00 p.m. at the Salty Caper in Mooresville for great food and fellowship. All men are invited. Contact Jacob Whitlow [[email protected]] for more information.
  • Thursday: Healing Rooms— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church’s main building. Everyone is welcome! Feel free to invite your family and friends to drop by to receive prayer for physical healing. “By His wounds, we are healed!” Isaiah 53:5. Questions? Email us at: [email protected].
  • Saturday: Crowns of Glory (Ages 50+)— The Crowns of Glory Life Group will gather for a cookout at 12:00 noon at the Jolly’s house! Please contact Pam [704-663-7775 / [email protected]] about what to bring.
  • September 7-9: Camping Trip at Fort Hamby State Park— This is a great time for our church family to get together for fun, good food and great fellowship. Singles, couples and/or families are welcome to join us. The group campsite is for tents only, but if you are not a tent camper there are places close to our group campsite for campers and RV’s.   • Saturday, September 15: Men’s Ministry Gathering (Including a Taco Lunch)— Plan to join us from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at RiverLife for worship, an encouraging word from Don Hardister, tacos and fellowship. The cost of the gathering is $20, which will cover all food (breakfast: donuts/bagels; lunch: salad/tacos/dessert) and drinks (coffee/water/sodas) during the day. Registration closes on Wednesday, September 12.   • November 9-11: Sojourn Retreat Registration Now Open— Registration is now open for our 2018 Sojourn Women’s Ministry Retreat at Bonclarken! This year our theme is Victorious and is based on Psalm 45:4. We are privileged and excited to welcome renowned Attorney, Author & Speaker, Elizabeth A. Nixon, Esq., as our special guest speaker. Elizabeth will be teaching key spiritual principles that transform lives and launch people into their Destiny. The Early Bird discount is available until Sunday, September 16.
