- Sunday, September 24-Thursday, September 28: Power of the Cross Identity Rally— 6:30 p.m. nightly at 769 River Hwy in Mooresville. Our church is participating in the Power of the Cross Identity Rally. This event is designed to share with the community how one’s identity can change through the Power of the Cross. Volunteers are needed for the RLF Church Tent (where you’d chat with people who are looking to get plugged into a local church). - This Morning: Bake Sale Fundraiser for Camp Morley— Remember to bring some extra pocket money to church this morning so that you can enjoy fresh baked goods before and after the service! Proceeds will support our youth summer camp.
- This Afternoon: Rio de Vida (Hispanic Ministry)— We gather Sundays at 1:00 p.m. in the church’s back building for a time of worship, fellowship and a message in Spanish. - Monday: Sojourn Women’s Ministry— In lieu of our September Sojourn Meeting, we encourage you to join us in supporting the Power of the Cross Identity Rally at 769 River Hwy in Mooresville. A FREE meal is provided for the first 1,000 people starting at 6:00 p.m. The Rally starts at 6:30 p.m. A few of us will be representing our church in the RLF tent, so if you are interested in helping us (men welcome) please contact John & Sue Croley [704-450-7318 / [email protected]].
- Tuesday: Tidal Wave (Middle School Youth in Grades 6-8)— 5:45-8:30 p.m. at the Power of the Cross Identity Rally located at 769 River Hwy in Mooresville. A FREE meal (burgers) will be served. Rally starts at 6:30 pm. Parents are invited; however, youth will be supervised if parents do not attend. Please pick-up and drop-off at the Rally. - Monday, October 2: Newcomer’s Gathering— 7:00 p.m. in the church’s main building. Are you new to RiverLife? We want to get to know you! The Newcomer’s Gathering is an occasion for people who are new or relatively new to RiverLife to learn more about the DNA—vision, passion, history—of our fellowship, to get to know the leadership a bit better and to get plugged into the various life groups and ministries of our church. - Saturday, October 7: Crowns of Glory Mountain Trip (Ages 50+)— The Crowns of Glory Life Group will be traveling to the mountains to view the fall leaves. The carpool will depart at 9:00 a.m. from the Jolly’s house. Bring a bag lunch and a drink. We will have coolers for your food and drinks. - Sunday, October 29: RiverLife’s Epic Fall Festival—Plan to join us at 4:00 p.m. at Breezy Meadows Farm for our Fall Festival! We’ll have live Bluegrass music, Wicker BBQ and a number of fun Fall activities to enjoy! Each family should bring 2 HOMEMADE sides (such as macaroni & cheese, potato salad, pasta salad, baked beans, chili, slaw, casseroles, tossed salads, fruit, etc.) and singles should bring a dessert and drink. - November 10-12: Women’s Retreat @ Bonclarken Conference Center— Held in beautiful western NC, the retreat is wonderful place for the women of RLF to connect. This year, we are excited to have very own Becky Wicker, Sarah Bollinger & Rhonda Bumgarner sharing and we also will have a ministry team from Catch the Fire Raleigh available for personal prophetic ministry.
