  • Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays.   • JOIN US! Tuesday: nourish (Young Women’s Bible Study)—7:00-8:30 p.m. in the back building. nourish is a gathering place for young women (age 20-40’s) to connect through fellowship and studying God’s word. Over six weeks (September 6-October 11) we will dive into the study by Havilah Cunningham, “Leap Into Love: Living Present to My Purpose on the Planet.” We will cover topics such as self-abandonment, recovering ourselves, building confidence, and changing culture. This study will uncover the truth that you are an example of His most significant work.   • Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests as well as Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: Tidal Wave (Middle School Youth in Grades 6-8)— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church’s back building. Our desire is to create an environment for middle schoolers to grow in their personal relationship with the Lord, in their knowledge and love of the Word, in their spiritual gifts and in worship. We also believe that social interaction is a key part of a group of this age and have plenty of opportunities for fun and activities.   • Thursday: Men of Fire (Men’s Fellowship)— 7:00 p.m. in the church’s back building. We focus on the Scriptures, prayer and building up one another. We meet to support all the men in our fellowship as well as the fellowship as a whole. Gathering in a small group helps us to develop closer relationships and encourages us to stand together in our walk with Jesus. Contact Tommy McCraw [[email protected]] for more information.
  • Friday: Seeking His Presence (Mount Ulla)— 6:00 p.m. at the Foldoe’s house. We seek to grow in the knowledge of God (intimacy) in addition to becoming equipped practically for life and ministry. Our meetings begin with a covered-dish potluck meal, where we have a relaxed time of fellowship and opportunity to get to know one another.   • Saturday: Men’s Prayer Group— 7:00 a.m. in the Prayer Room. This prayer time has been a free-flowing mixture of worship, testimony and prayer. We seek the Lord’s heart and pray accordingly! Please text Jeff Miller [704-775-6652] on Friday for our Saturday meeting details.
  • Saturday: Board Game Night— 6:00 p.m. (until we’re done) in the back building. Game nights are back! We’ll have plenty of board games to play, but feel free to bring your own.   • Saturday, September 24: Community Pregnancy Center of Lake Norman’s Walk for LIFE 9:30 a.m. at Langtree Lake Norman. Would you like to Help Empower Moms to Choose LIFE? Visit the Pregnancy Center’s website, stop by the info table in the church foyer or reach out to Pam [[email protected]] if you would like to learn more about this fundraiser to support our local crisis pregnancy center!   • October 21-23: WAITLIST for Sojourn Women’s Retreat— Retreat registration is full/closed! Please include: 1) your full name, 2) your contact phone number and/or email, 3) a list of any physical limitations or special needs you may have (such as no top bunk, stairs, etc.), and 4) which campus you attend (Mooresville or Chapel Hill).
