Dear People who Keep Company with God,

I was very thankful when I arrived in Lakeland, Florida for the healing outpouring meetings for all the Lord had done in me since the river of the Holy Spirit was manifested and released at our church in October 2006. I believe God in His great love and mercy has prepared me for what He is now beginning to do in the earth.

for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13

God has been busy working in my life, in my inner man straightening me out, ironing the wrinkles, pulling down strongholds in my thinking and softening my heart so that I would be able to recognize Him as He was showing up in similar, but different ways in Lakeland. Jesus asked His disciples a very pointed question one time after they had seen Him do so much, yet still struggled in their own minds and hearts with the circumstances before them. He asked, “do you have a hardened heart?” (Mark 8:17). A hard, insensitive or dull heart is not capable of recognizing our Lord when He appears. The story of the Pharisees of Jesus’ day is the greatest testimony of this. Only the Holy Spirit can truly soften our hearts, however it is our responsibility to humble ourselves and surrender ourselves to His ways.

The Holy Spirit has revealed much to me concerning who I am in Christ. One of the most foundational questions we all must settle is “Who are you?” We can quote verses all day concerning what the Bible tells us on this subject and I believe it is essential to know these verses, but I tell you this, it is only when the Father Himself by the Holy Spirit reveals to you who you are that you can truly answer this question. In the natural realm a father’s primary task for his children is to give them identity and security. That is what our heavenly Father has been doing in the body of Christ since the 1990’s and in particular in our church since October 2006. He will continue to do this. I do not claim to have 100% revelation on this or fully walk in the reality of it, but I do know one thing more now than ever, I too “am a beloved son in whom the Father is well pleased” (see Luke 3:22). I cannot tell you in words how that one revelation has completely changed my life. It has been and continues to be well tested, just as Jesus was tested on this (see Luke 4:1-13), but that testing has only further prepared me for what is coming now.

And Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about Him spread through all the surrounding district. Luke 4:14

I believe we will see in the season coming upon us a greater revelation of who Christ is in us. This is what I heard and saw in Lakeland; God is revealing to the world who His Son is through earthly vessels of clay. In particular those vessels that have to some degree been made secure in their true identity of who they are in Christ will now begin to experience something much greater, Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:27). I have shared in our church previously that I believe the next wave of revival will be a greater revelation of Jesus Christ. It is beginning.

We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ. Colossians 1:28

It is a great time to be made complete in Christ.

Many Blessings, BW
