Final Words of Jesus

In the 40 days after His resurrection Jesus was not giving the disciples new truth. He could have told us some amazing spiritual insights and secrets about heaven, angels, demons and how the spiritual worked, but He didn’t. What He revealed to us is the foundational truths that the church and our lives are built upon.

They are:

• Jesus Christ is alive. Everything builds on this. Without this, there is no church, no kingdom on earth. It is all vanity.
• The Kingdom of heaven. Jesus spoke more on this topic than anything else, before the cross and after the cross!
• The Baptism of the Holy Spirit. People do not need information about God, they need an encounter with God. That is what the immersion in the Spirit gives us.
• Jesus ascended to heaven. This is the basis for all true hope and faith doesn’t work apart from hope.
